One of my very favorite months is July for sure. I love the weather, the two incredible holidays we get to celebrate and I absolutely love the tradition my family has of going up Millcreek and having breakfast with my dad's side of the family.
This year was a strange year however because just a few days prior, my dad was admitted to the hospital for blood clots on his lungs. It was awfully scary and he was there for an entire week but when he left he was doing well and will be monitored for a bit so I'm hoping all will be okay long term as well. Hope we don't have that kind of a scare again. So needless to say, going up to the canyon without him was strange and we missed him a bunch! There were quite a few cousins missing too but we had a great time together and a delicious breakfast!

That evening, we went up near the mountains to a fun park to play and eat dinner with Spence's family. Spence left out of town earlier that afternoon so the kids and I joined our family up there and had a fun time and great end to the day
