Landscaping almost done....

Well, I am making a separate book of our house building and our landscaping but I thought I would add a few at least to show how cool this process is.  It is just a game changer when the yard is done and we've loved seeing the progress!

Here are the garden boxes and some of the shrubs and plants.  The rock work went in and the bark too.

Love it so much - it was so exciting to imagine the kids playing in the yard and here it comes!

The kids were so excited that "their grass was coming" - they could hardly stand it and had a great time watching it go in.

I just love freshly cut grass and oh!  Notice to the left that our garden boxes were in and planted full of yummy veggies.
I think that was what I was excited for the most - I missed having a garden last year.

Another zoo day in the books!

This trip we went with my sweet friends Melissa and Charmoin and their kids.

And of course, we started off with a train ride which was so much fun with all these cute kids.

Oh man, biggest task is getting all of them to look still.  They are all so not interested in pictures so of course, they don't want to cooperate too well.

But hey, we got some pics anyway.

I don't know if you can tell but during this time at the zoo, they had their dinosaur exhibit and it was so cool!  These that we are at now, were spraying dinos and they spit water at those that walked by - so funny!

Carousel time - always a favorite of my kids.

These boys are so cute together - they definitely are boys and brothers and fight but when they are being sweet, they are really, really sweet.

Rio's darling art work and homework time

Give Rio paper, crayons and/or markers and she is entertained for hours and hours!

I have SO MANY drawings from her but I just think she is adorable and I love to watch her draw and color.

These were done back in May of 2015.

This may be silly but I also wanted to capture the kids working on their homework.  They get quite a bit of homework for preschool I think but these 3 never, ever complain and actually enjoy doing it.

Aren't they so cute?  Little smarty pants!

Good job working so hard you kids!



This day after school, I picked them up to discover it had been a color on yourself and your friend day at preschool.

So cute!  I just adore their preschool so much.



These two were pretty cute about telling me who colored on them and who drew what...

it was really cute.

Rio was able to go home with her little "bestie" Kate that day so her mom took a cute pic of the girls so I could see their faces too.

Pre-school Program with Miss Melissa '15

Oh my goodness!

I could not have been happier with Miss Melissa and her staff of teachers for preschool.  They are absolutely amazing women, teachers and friends to these kids.

They have taught them an unbelievable amount of poems (including The Spider & the Fly), songs and even violin.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!

And my little fam - these kids were honestly amazing!  I could not believe how much they learned and how much they memorized!

Super impressed with their smart, little brains.
I've been super impressed with their preschool and so grateful they have gone there this year.
I also got a great compliment from their music teacher, Miss Holly at this program and one that I don't think I'll ever forget.
She came up to me as we were arriving and said, "I just had to meet you.  I had no idea all year that your children were triplets!  They were honestly all my favorite this year so I asked Miss Melissa if I could meet their moms and when I found out they were siblings and triplets...I had to meet you and tell you how wonderful and smart they are."
That may not sound like a compliment to anyone else, but to me, I was so happy.
Being a triplet is so fun and so amazing at times but at times, outside people, including teachers can sometimes lump them into one person or category and assume they are the same or going to cause problems or cling to one another and instead, Miss Holly saw them as unique, separate, smart kids and I was thrilled!  Best compliment a mommy of triplets can get I think :)
