TOFW (Time Out for Women) 11.16

One of my very favorite traditions with my girlfriends each year is going to Time Out for Women.  It is so much fun and so inspiring to hear people talk about motherhood, family, our roles and duties as women and just being surrounded with great friends.  I really do love this group of friends so much and feel so lucky to know them.
(Horrible pic of me BTW)
*Me, Charmoin, Jill and Shaunly*
*Kelly, Jenny and Alicia*
We had a blast and had some other friends come too but didn't ever get any pics all together!  We're so lucky to know each other.  In fact, after this weekend together, we came home and started a service group where we can look for the needs of those around us and then act quickly to serve and provide what is needed.
We have already done some really big projects and hopefully provided some relief to those that needed some help.  I almost listed them but then I thought that would defeat the purpose of providing the service and make it more about "us" so....just know I am so grateful for these amazing women and their willingness to give selflessly to so many!

Play Group Fun for Thanksgiving & Rio's 1st lost tooth

Thanksgiving Treats - thanks to Pinterest
We made these super cute turkeys out of peanut butter cookies, oreo cookies, candy corn and mike and ike candies.
Logan sure liked his :)
Rio wanted to make sure her turkey had green eyes "because no one has red, yellow or orange eyes!"
Love this cute Jaxon - he finds joy in all things!
Cute Case - their BFF and his turkey.
Austin sometimes acts "too big" for this stuff already but he had lots of fun too!
Their cute friend Hayden came over too and he is such a cute boy.  We love when Hayden plays.

1st lost tooth for Rio

She was super sad and shocked when we got her tooth out but she stayed tough.
And just like that, the tooth fairy came and they were so excited!
Rio absolutely loves peanut butter cups like her mama so she was thrilled that is what she got.
...along with her gold dollar as well of course!
Austin was a little less thrilled with his mentos but still excited he got a treat without having to lose a tooth!

Getting cozy and hanging with daddy

These kids are so much fun!
They may life way more happy and way more silly all the time!  I wonder where they get that from??
(their daddy for sure)
Cozy time for movie night.
Oh man, I love this baby so much!
He is so dang cute and is really my only kid that looks at the camera and smiles - love it!
Friday night is usually movie night around here and we all look forward to it to be together and have fun.
Until next week kids!

SNOW DAY!

I think this snow was technically the 2nd snow of this winter but the first one melted super fast!
I just love new, fresh snow.  It is so beautiful and so fun for these kiddos.
Fun to see our backyard with snow on it :)
This little cutie wanted to go outside so bad!
PS he got a haircut too - such a cute boy and looked so old.
Okay...here we go!
All dressed and ready to play!
It only took about 5-7 minutes to get everyone ready but hey!, I knew they would have lots of fun and they were determined to play in it.
Logan had waited all morning for the kids to come home from school so he could play - he was more than thrilled.
Snow Angels!
Pure joy on their faces - I love seeing that!
Oh Aus...his face was seriously so red!  He was freezing but that did not stop him.
This little one outlasted all 3 older kids!  He was having so much fun and did not want to come in - he even kept his boots, coat and gloves on (which probably helped) but he was such a happy, little guy.  It made me so happy watching him play - this kid is a great representation of joy, joy, joy!
