Quick trip to Cedar City

Sad news but we had to make a quick trip to Cedar City for a funeral.  Spence's cousins' husband died so we headed down there to show her our love and spend a little bit of time with them.
We were happy we could go with Grandma and Grandpa Morris too!
They are wonderful!
Our kiddos with a few of the other cousins kids.

While we were in the area, we decided to go up to the area where the new temple was being built to see the progress.
Our little fam enjoying this beautiful view.  So excited for Cedar to have a temple!!
It was a quick two day trip down and back but we were so glad to see Mindy and her family and show our love and support of them.  It is so tragic to lose him so early and to have such little kids to leave behind.  That poor family has been through so much lately.
This pic is from a wedding reception we attended for an old ward family when we were in Draper.
These two...it was too cute to not include!
I also had to included these little beautiful creations.  The kids always seem to find ways to make bird nests anywhere!  Love it, mostly comes from Rio and her amazingly creative mind.

This was the view from the trip home after the funeral that night.  All out cold...except...
...Blake!  Do you see his smile and him pretending he's asleep?
Silly boy!  Why are you not asleep?

Kick-off to Bluffdale Days - FOAM!

Love this fun time of year.  We already enjoyed a super fun rodeo and now, it is time for Bluffdale Days!
Fun games, events and a huge carnival like thing.
This night, it was FOAM night!  The firetrucks came and sprayed out FOAM all over the place at a park and the kids got to basically swim through it.  It was hilarious and so much fun.
They had a blast and Spence and I loved watching them play and laugh so hard.
Jax getting ready to go in.
We were able to go with our neighbors, the Hawkins too; that always makes it so fun!
*Logan, Rylee, Rio, Avery, Jax and Austin*
Announcing the rules - doesn't that just make you want to jump in?
I'll just show the pics and say a few things now:
As fitting to their personalities:  Rio and Logan were all in!  They run in and out and were completely covered the entire time; laughing and giggling the whole way.
Austin had fun too but wasn't as invested in getting completely covered.
Jax...does it surprise you?  Didn't love it but tried to.  He went in but was very careful not to get it all over him.
Blake - did not want any part of it.  I think that will change in a few years but for now, he was not having it!
ENJOY!
Avery loved that Rio was all in!
Can you tell Blake doesn't love it?  Did not even want it on his feet!
HA!
I had to go in up to my waist to go find Logan. I honestly got really worried he fell and got stepped on and couldn't find his way out...BUT, he was fine.  Scared me to death though!
THESE TWO!  HAHA! (and Logan's goggles - aren't they adorable?)
After the FOAM fun, the fire fighters took out the water and hosed the kids down.
SO FUN!
Right near by, there were these adorable little ponys so we had to say hello.

What a great time!  I just love this tradition!  Can't wait for the rest of the weeks events.

American Fork Canyon with the Fanks again

The Fankhausers like to go camping every summer up in American Fork Canyon and we love to go and visit them.  It was so much fun like always.
And...only a few hurt knees and backs.
Zak so cute with Blake.  Such an awesome cousin.
Just explorin'.
Jax just relaxing in the hammock.
Lucky to call this family mine  - they are all such great people.
River fun!
Oh little miss... she fell really hard off the tree bridge :(  She was so sad and very hurt for a minute.  Poor little girl.

WHAT?  Not sure why we took that other than to see cute Halle with us.
Look at that flame!
Love these little triplets of ours.  I pray I never forget how incredible and amazing they are.  What  a gift to us.
Look at that group!  Pretty awesome for only two kids but now they have 11 grandkids!
