Zak's bday, & friend dinner

Love this kid so much!  He is such a great boy and nephew.
How lucky we are to have him in our family and to have him as such an amazing example.

I have to take about 5 pictures per pose just so all 5 of my kids actually are looking - haha
Love this cute boy!
And for some reason, the flash was on for grandma and grandpa's pic so well...oops.
Matt, Zak and Sky - love them!
Happy 16th birthday Zak!
We love you!
He was so good about celebrating with his family before heading out with his friends.  I mean, what 16 year old does that?  So awesome!
Happy, happy birthday Zak - you are adored.

During December, we got together with some of our Draper ward friends and spouses to celebrate and have a yummy dinner together.
Love, love, love these ladies!
(back) Alicia, Kristie, Melissa, Charmoin, Emilie, Tracy, Jenny, me, Candace and Jen
(front) Kelly, Natalie and Chelle
A lot of us have moved out of that ward now but we still are great friends and see each other as much as we can.

Christmas Day! 2016

Merry Christmas 2016!
As per usual, we took WAY too many pics so there is a separate Christmas book :)
But..I thought I would add some of the pics for this Christmas here too.
We had a great day with family and our kids and were so grateful for the Savior's birth and remembering Him who gave His life for us so we can be together forever.
And there you have it!  Christmas gifts.
 Logan's section
 Rio's
 Austin's
 Jax's
 Blake's
Ready to come down the stairs to see what Santa brought them.
And of course, Lennox was not forgotten.

Happy kids
 What could it be???
Love that Santa bringing me the best stocking stuffers on the planet!
Spence showing off his awesome stocking too - he got some yummy treats from that Sana as well.

Again, lots more pics and fun in our separate Christmas book but this just gives a little teaser.

Trimming the Tree

Beautiful tree and we all loved putting up the stockings this year in their own special spot.
Love that a simple, little tree can add so much to a room.
Spence doing a little trimmin' himself in the high spots.
Cutie kids
And that about sums up most our attempts to take pictures.  Love Blake laying on a non-liking Jax.
And just like that, he's happy again with his "mainket."

Gingerbread Houses

It's the super time time of year to do lots of crafts and fun things together, including this fun night we had together making a gingerbread house.
 Filling up the icing bags.
Spence totally loves doing these things, can you tell by his face?
And clearly, it was cold indoors with Jax still wearing his coat and Spence's hat on - haha.
Nice work there Spence making icicles.
Blake really enjoyed the candy we put on top...he couldn't quit get enough.
 And there you have it!
It looks super cute right?

And then came the serious play with dad.
Happiest, cutest eyes there ever was!
Even little Blakey liked the icing.

Who would like a beard or mustache?

Christmas story time before bed.
Love these sweet moments I get to have with my amazing kids.
Merry Christmas!
