The leprechaun did what?

St Patrick's Day was so fun with the kids - we did our really fun leprechaun trap day as posted earlier and then on the actual day (which was a Sunday so it worked perfect), our pesky little friend came and visited us while we were at church.  Here are a few pics of  what he left behind:
He left green footprints and hand prints all over the place!  He was quite busy while we were away...
He also left these adorable rainbows with marshmallow clouds and little gold coins
The kids thought this was the funniest thing he left behind - little footprints over the toilet where he "peed" green pee!
Jax was quite concerned about it and immediately had to wash off his footprints and flush the toilet - he's so cute!
Oh man... a little hand print trying to wash his hands I guess
I love this picture of Rio - she was squealing, "ew!  So cute!" as she walked around the house finding evidence of our little friend
He left the kids shamrock necklaces and gold chocolate coins - they loved it!
Cannot get over those adorable smiles in their green so they wouldn't get pinched :)
He left Logan a necklace too - he was a very sweet leprechaun
Spence and I made our dinner/breakfast all green too, well as best we could anyway.  Looks a little eery to me but the kids thought it was so fun
YUMMY!!
Happy St Patrick's Day you adorable kids!

Building our Leprechaun Trap

Late as usual but Happy St. Patricks Day!
I am kind of a holiday nerd and love to do as many fun things as I can think of with the kids while they're still little.
I got together with some triplet mommy friends and we had a really cute lunch and made some leprechaun traps to catch those silly pests :)
Roxy, Lucas, Reese and my cute friend Marci
How cute are these little sandwiches?
Shamrock quesadillas :)
The leprechaun's yummy fruit rainbow with gold and clouds on each end

In the back with the sun on them: Lia, Hunter and Carlee and Avery at the bar
Table: Jax, Rio, Austin, Sydnee, Rylee, Cooper, Kenadie and Carter

Hunter, Lia and my kiddos working on our trap and doing a great job!
My sweet trio were so excited to see if they could catch their pesky leprechaun and wanted to put every single sticker on that they could
Roxy with her girls - they all LOVE doing crafts!  She's taught them well
TA-DA!  All finished - so cute I think - they did great!
The Dodge fam showing off their handy work
After they finished their traps and as we were leaving, the kids ran out and played "ring around the Rosie's" and then had to give each other a group hug!
They are really cute friends

It's finally warming up. Well, a little at least.

These funky Utah Spring days are few and far between.  One day it is bright, sunny and warm and the next day could be cold, windy or even snowy so on those warmer days, we head outside as much and as long as possible!
The kids favorite thing to do is to dig in the garden and now is the time, it isn't planted yet!
Everything Austin does is on purpose and with intent!  Can you tell by the look on his face?
Rio, on the other hand just wants things to look pretty and cute and it doesn't matter how messy things get!
Jax is also very purposeful in what he does, but he is also a free little soul and just does whatever he thinks looks fun in the moment
 Dig, dig, dig!

Logan love & my big girl

What a blessing little Logan has been to our family!  He is so fun to watch grow and I feel like with the triplets, it was often rushed and chaotic and I may have missed out on a few "growth" moments so we all get to enjoy watching Logan.
I wanted to share a few sweet, tender moments with the Logan and the "older" kids.
Often Rio and Austin talk with Logan and play with him, sing to him and even try to hold him but my sweet Jax usually says, "no thanks mommy" or "I don't want to play with Logan."

However, this gift of a day, Jax was so playful with Logan and he couldn't get enough of Logan's smile.  He kept saying, "mommy, he likes me!  He keeps smiling at me!"
*Priceless gifts that I'm so lucky to capture with a pic*
Look what I can do!  I'm so big!
WHOA!! Camera got a little too close apparently!
Awww.. sweet brothers
I love how Logan is looking at Austin - wonder what he's thinking...

Bath time with daddy - what a chubby little guy Logan is - these are probably some of my favorite pics - love bath time photos
Oh, look at that face & eyes!
Just had a few random pics of Rio to share - she found these "feety jams" in the laundry room in a bin that I hadn't put away and she was so excited and screamed, "my bunny foo-foo feety jams!"  These were her all time favorite jammies because they have little bunnies on the feet and we would sing, "Little Bunny Foo-Foo" to her when she would wear them.
All girl this one!
Purse, heels and jewelry...what else does a girl need?

Triplet Lunch @ Sweet Tomatos

I have to give fair warning in advance, since my blog is like a mini-journal these days, this post is to help me remember some crazy triplet days so it's a little less descriptive.

My friend Roxy had a great idea to have a "triplet" lunch date at  Sweet Tomatoes back in the beginning of March.
Sweet Tomatoes is such a "kid friendly" place and I always feel a little better about eating out if I know they're getting some veggies and fruit :)  I know, dumb reasoning but it helps my mind anyway.
They were so sweet to accommodate all of us and even reserved an entire section.  Maybe because they wanted to cut our chaos off from everyone, ha-ha
Here was our group!
*Love these families*

A few pics of our little gang - yummy!
A few of Roxy and her kiddies, Avery, Reese and Lucas
Amber and her twins, Molly & Mason - her triplets and other 2 older boys were in school
Yep, that's right - 7 kids: 2 singles, set of triplets and set of twins - all natural too!  She is such an amazing mom.

A few of my friends Angie and her triplets and her baby Karson who is 8 days younger than Logan, so fun!
Some pics of my friend Marci and her trio (Cooper, Carter and Kennedy) with her older cutie Kenzi
Her boys were loving their pudding :)
Kimber and her kiddies - she's got her little triplets and 2 older kids too
I know!  I'm amazed by all these incredible women
Diana and her girls, Brooke and Haley.  Her other 2 (including one of the triplets were at school)
Lori with her trio (she's got 2 older girls) and Hilary with 4 of her 6.  She's got 3 older girls and then had spontaneous triplet boys!  Wow!  What a shocker right?  They two are so sweet and great mommies!
Kate and her boys
Julianne and her little trio and baby girl (born a month after my Logan)
After lunch, a few of us came over to my house to play
*Karson and Logan, little buddies whether they want to be or not :)*
All 11 kiddies and Rox enthralled in watching Strawberry Shortcake songs - so cute!
