An oldie but a goodie hike to Silver Lake

Love this place and I don't mind going over and over and over.
It is always beautiful and always so fun!
Rock climbers!
(oops..didn't see the no climbing sign until it was too late)
Oh he's cute!
Love that Logan so much.  Isn't that background just gorgeous?
Cute smiling kids.  Love seeing them so happy.
And now, let the posing begin!
Oh our Rio...
They love their daddy.
It's the red hat brigade!
Where's Austin?
Where's Jax?
Cute little duck family.
Little dirty but cute as could be.
I love being outdoors with the kids - I always feel like it is where we belong!
Fun, little critters all around.
I sure do love this group!
I sometimes still can't believe we have 5 kids!  I see these family pictures and I still get teary eyed most days.  They are just such huge blessings and things we prayed and prayed about for years and years.  I am truly lucky to be their mom and I pray I can act accordingly every day.
Love you little crew!

Annual work trip to Boondocks

It's Boondocks time again and one of my kids favorite days of the summer. They absolutely love seeing their cousins and aunts and uncles there.  It's so fun.
These cuties got completely soaked while going on the water boats.  So fun!  They didn't mind one bit!

Next, we went mini golfing together.
How cute is this little golfer?
He got a little bored trying to play by the rules :)
Uncle Matt was nice enough to ride with Austin and get soaked too!
And Jax...oh Jax.  He rode in the boat with a man who has special needs and he was so sweet!  He had a lot of questions afterwards like, "why does his brain not work the same? and why does he act younger than he looks?"  But, it was so cute of him to go and have a fun time with him!
Rio and Halle went together - hilarious!

I stayed back with these crazies and took some fun pics that I will treasure forever!  Love these littles.  Don't tell Logan I said he was "little".

Fun trip to Scheels

Just some pics I had to take to remember their darling faces in the morning right after they wake up.
Missing cute Jax here but love these kids.  I love the summer to be able to have them home more.  It means more arguing and fighting but it also means more smiling, laughing and fun with them.  I know time goes too fast and I am always working hard to treasure each day I have while they are young.

We took a fun trip to Scheels one day because they LOVE the Ferris wheel there.
I got to go with Blake and he was so excited!
Spence went with Jax and Logan
And these two got to go by themselves!
Sort of scared the crap out of me at first but they thought they were SO BIG!
Cuties.

We wondered up the stairs and found this silly background and just had to get a pic - the boys are getting ready for flag football and were excited to "be on the field."

Fun afternoon kids!
Glad daddy got to go with us too!  It's always funner as a whole family.
