A Gift and a First

I feel like all of a sudden I'm playing catch up again - I'm so behind so here we go with lots of posts in a row :)
For Christmas this year, we got some of our cousins a trip to the Dino Museum and an I-MAX movie day - we had a blast!
Rio, Brinlee and Jax with Austin up front hangin' out in the "noise" room trying to be super quiet on the rocks. Let's just say four 3 year olds aren't the best at being quiet
Hello?
Jax was wondering why no one was talking back as he was listening
Let's see just how loud we can bang these mallets?
Brinlee, Austin and Hayden
The oldest of the Morris cousins Tyler being so fun and silly with Austin
What a happy face he has!  He loved hangin out with Ty
Rio - isn't she a cutie?
Rio and Brinlee on their "airplane" they said
My kids favorite part of the museum - the tunnel with stars!
It is pitch black in the tunnel except for the little, tiny stars and my kids LOVE it!  They sing, "Twinkle, Twinkle" the whole time
It isn't Brinlee's favorite part but Rio made sure she loved it by taking her hand in hand through the tunnel about 10 times in a row :)
Can you tell they were shocked to see the photo light?
Austin making a sand trap for the dinos
Brothers working together - I love seeing that!
Kristin, Ty & Hayden
Jax, Rio and Hayden asked me to take a pic of them - this is their favorite "photo op" spot
Pretty girls
Jax, Rio, Austin, Brinlee, Hayden and Ty out front!  We finally got all of them in one shot but of course not everyone is looking - ha-ha
I asked the kids if they wanted to take a picture with Logan and Austin of course said, "YES!" so he and Rio decided they both wanted Logan on both of their laps
What a big boy he is getting to be right?
I love Jax's energy - never, ever a quiet or dull moment with him around
"Watch out!!"
Making the last stop in the museum at the sand pits digging up some fossils
My kids hadn't been to a movie at the theatre before so I knew this would be an interesting quest.
However... they did so awesome!
We had the theatre to ourselves so Kristin and I "talked" them through the movie and they were amazing!
We saw a great "pterosaurs" movie with no scariness or anything and they loved it.
Hayden, Austin and Rio and even Logan (he slept through the whole movie, bless him)
Jax, Brinlee, Kristin and Ty rocking their 3D glasses
We had such a great time!  Love you Gilbert cousins!!

Last snow day? Sledding, here we come!

Last time we went sledding, Spencer was not with us so this time after this big snow storm in mid-January, we wanted to take advantage of going once again.
I said last time that my parents have this incredible snow hill and up to their house we went!
My fabulous mom helping Austin down the hill for the first time - he was so ready!
YEAH!  Made it down the hill
Daddy & Rio - she was so happy to have him there
Spence going down the "giant" hill
Um...sweetie, you remember that is a plastic sled and an ice mound your on right??
I was laughing so hard that I couldn't get the "after" picture - he had snow all over this face because he totally nose dived into the snow after this ice mound - ha-ha :) It was awesome!
Mommy and Logan enjoying the sun while daddy went cruising with the kiddos
Even cute Lennox wanted a turn apparently - but he went uphill instead of down
 Here comes Jax!!!
Austin at one point decided he was done sledding so he went and ate the snow instead; silly boy
Jax and I decided to go down together this time and he was so excited!  So... here we go!
WHEE!!!
Mommy and Jax - he is so fun and I absolutely adore his laugh
Now it's daddy's turn with Jax...
Whoa!! I'm falling off dad - Jax loved every moment with Spence - he couldn't get enough
One last shot of cute Rio cruising down - she is all about enjoying every moment and she did!
Mommy and Rio decided to take the next doubles turn
Oh my goodness! We made it to the bottom with all smiles and on our backs as well
Spence was so good at taking these last pics!  I'm so grateful to have these pictures.
Rio is such a sweetie and I love spending time with her and her contagious energy

Logan's new tricks, dentist trip & tub fun

It seemed like it took forever for the triplets to get to the point when they could sit up and eat solids and Logan is already there!  How time flies with this little, sweet boy.
Logan was a rock star eating for the first time!  He ate like he'd been doing it forever!  I mean, look at his face below - he's pretty dang clean for a first timer :)
Good job sweetie pie!  You did awesome!
He started eating oatmeal at 4 months and then when he turned 6 months, we started eating fruits and veggies.  He's loved both and does so well.

YUMMY!!
We were driving home from playing somewhere with the kids and Logan was awfully silent... when I pulled his car seat in, this is what I saw.
What a sweetheart!
Logan started sitting up really well on couches and chairs and beds the week he turned 6 months - he's sitting up on his own now but I'll post those pics later.
I love this little picture - he's looking at me like, "mommy, what are you doing?"

Oh, that's better - happy as could be now
Austin is such a great brother - he loves to help Logan and play with him.
Whenever he's sad, he (usually) immediately runs to get him a toy or smile at him
Love you boys!
BATH TIME for ALL!  These guys have so much fun together in the tub - it is so cute to watch them watch Logan and see him kick around

Logan loves the water!! He's one of the gang around here :)
Look at the chubby little body - oh he's just squeezable!
I FINALLY made the kids a dentist appointment now that they are 3.
They did so incredibly well - they got x-rays, teeth cleaned and counted and everything looked great!
They were so good, they got quite a few prizes including a balloon, a pass to get ice cream and of course a new toothbrush and toothpaste
Good job you 3!  No cavities!!
Oh I had to add this perfect little picture in here too - he is absolutely adorable right?
What a precious little sleeper he is - Jax and Rio love their blankets too and now Logan is joining right along.  I love his little hands holding on so tight as he sleeps.
*We're so lucky to have you Logan*
