Logan (FINALLY) got a "big boy" bed

Okay so yes, Logan is 3 and turned 3 in August but well, we've kept him in a crib mostly because he is totally happy there!

(This happened in November by the way although I'm posting in June.)

But...it is time to change him to a bed for sure.

However, this day was like one of the worst days we chose to do it.

Blake, Logan and Rio were all super sick with the flu or some sort of tummy bug and were all throwing up and on top of that, the bed we bought for him took WAY TOO LONG to set up.

 Spence is awesome so it went quicker than it could have but still between the bed and sick kids, this day was a very, very long day!

We ended up having to go buy him a mattress that night as well so off we went in the van with sick kids and buckets just in case...

and Spence ran in the store, got the mattress, we stuffed it in the car over the buckets and kids and got home as soon as we could.

Why...sometimes, I wonder why we do what we do but hey, it all worked out!

 We hadn't bought him any bedding yet so he wasn't too thrilled but he still was super happy about having a "big boy" bed finally.

Blake was happy for him too :)

However, as happy as he was with his bed, he still ended up sleeping on the floor that night - silly boy.  He said it was "too weird" to sleep on his bed.  That changed the next night though.

A few days later, we finally got his bedding and of course, he wanted Blaze and LOVES it!

These kiddos are so cute and we had the best time with Melissa, Charmoin and their kiddos and Case came along with us which was so fun too!  We all just love him and being around him - such a cutie.

 And across the bridge they went!

Creative kiddos

These kids...one weekend, they woke up and decided they were all moving downstairs so they took their blankets down, furniture and wanted breakfast down there as well.

They even made up their beds on the food storage shelves!  They are so cute and so creative! I just love it!  Spence and I were totally laughing as we watched,

Later that day, this little guy decided to help me fold this blanket.  Oh wait...no.  He wanted me to NOT fold it!  Silly and darling little Blake.

And later day...

our toyroom transformed into a beach and the kids turned their chairs around, got their sunglasses and some books to lay in the sun and read.

So adorable!

I absolutely love days like this where they are playing and happy all day long!

It's Halloween!!! Time to party & trick or treat!

Before the evening festivities began, it was off to school first for the parade and party.

This year, the kids wanted to be Mario characters so...here they are!

Classroom party in full swing.  I volunteered so we had some super fun games and the kids had a blast!

Later that day, we went to Spence's work to do some "pre" trick or treating.

And then...

the kids were off that night for trick or treating in the neighborhood and they were in heaven!

So much fun with their daddy.

Blake and I stayed back and handed out candy and we ate a few pieces as well -de-lish!

Field Trip to the Fire Station

 How cute are they?

I took this on the day we carved pumpkins but I forgot to post it then so it's showing up here instead.

Fire Station Field Trip

The triplets got an opportunity to go visit the fire station for a class field trip in October and they had a great time and even were able to walk there from their school.

They felt so "big."

Family Fun with Pumpkin Carving

Okay, time to get carving after our pumpkin patch adventure!

Love these cuties so much!  They were so excited to carve their pumpkins this year and the older 3 really understand "traditions" now which is so fun!

Get in there Logan!  Dig those seeds out!

And...don't you love Blake leaning on Austin with his blanket or "manket" as he calls it.  Such a sweet boy and Austin is such a great brother.

And just like that, his moustache was cut out and Jax already was loving it.

Rio wanted moons and stars on hers so we used cookie cutters for her.
