While daddy's away...

For Spence's bday this year, he was able to go to an NFL game - Chargers and Seahawks and he was SO  EXCITED!  I think I was even more excited for him though.  Since we've had kids, he hasn't gone anywhere outside of work/school related trips so YAH for birthdays!
This little cutie was super sad though that daddy was not going to be home for a few days.  She drew him a picture and hugged it and hugged it.
LOVE HER!  She is so cute and loves her daddy.
That afternoon/evening we got to hang out with the Maughan family because Colin was with Spencer so we were so excited to be with them and see them again.
Austin, McKay and Jax trying to climb their way out of jail at Farm Country.
Ranie was prepared with quarters so the kids could feed the ducks but there is never enough food to go around so these kids gathered every, single speck of food they could off the ground to give to the ducks.
So cute and thoughtful.

Ranie and I - we were so glad to be out with the kids and to have our husbands having so much fun!
This sweet horse was so cute with the kids - he would just let them pet him over and over and they loved it too -
*Austin, Rio, McKay and Evan*
After the farm, we headed for a delicious, sit down dinner for 9 at the exotic, tasty McDonalds.
I know right?  We did it in style that night.  Nothing but the best for our kids :)
They had a blast and I was so so glad to catch up with my dear friend Ranie - I love her and admire her so much.

*Rio, Austin and Jax*
*Blake had to hang out with Ranie and I*

Love all you kids!

Summer tradition @ Tracy Aviary

We're back!
I just love this place and love to go at least once during the summer.
It was a gorgeous day and I loved every minute.
Here we go...waiting for our friends to come join us.
Sending our wishes and pennies to a good cause at the Aviary.

This area was so cute to play in - looks like an adorable mini forest.
Austin and Logan peaking through the trees together.  Austin is really a sweet brother to him "most of the time."
Love this beautiful guy! He is such a joy every day!
Reese and Austin - little climbers
Can anyone say "naptime?"
Jax got my phone and decided to take this picture of Rio by this pretty flower.  Of course, she was more than willing to pose for him.
Isn't that adorable?
Love these cuties so much.  I couldn't be more grateful for my friends Angie and Roxy and their kids.  We've been hanging out since my kids were 10 months old.  Love it!

Aquarium fun with my two little boys & great friends

What a fun morning I had with just my two little boys and Ranie and her two boys and Melissa and her 4 boys!
We were overcome with boys and they had a blast together.  I was sad that my triplets missed out but they were at preschool.
McKay and Evan were already halfway across when Logan decided to give it a try.  I was so proud of him for trying and he did awesome.
Only took the power of persuasion by watching these bigger boys go and he was all in!
Front to Back:

Logan attempting one more time but of course was going the wrong way :)
Who are those adorable penguins?
Well, at least the little one.
So cute!  I just love this little boy so much!

Off to the baby sharks and sting rays.

What a fun time we had!
Thanks Ranie and Melissa!

Jax and Austin's amazing season of soccer!

All right boys!  Let's get going...
this was the first year that I have signed my kids up for any extracurricular activities and I'm so glad we waited and that this was the year.
Rio started dance in August and the boys we SO excited to start their first year at playing soccer.
Jax was #54 and Austin was #55.
Showin' off their numbers.
This was their first game and they couldn't wait to get started.
This was their coach, Coach Rachel.  They had a really fun team:
*Owen Stott, Owen Snow, Vera, Kaitlin and Emma*
(Yes, Rio was a little sad she wasn't playing too so she may play Spring with them).
Pictures just don't capture these cute boys and how well they did all season.
There was even one game where the other team was short players and they pulled Austin over to join them.  Honestly, they scored at least 4 or 5 goals each game!
Way to go Jax and Austin.
They are naturals; they must get it from me :)
Ha-ha...they are their daddy's boys, that's for sure.
These were at practice one night.
These two would just sit and play or watch the boys and were so good all the time.
Logan was even potty training during this time frame and he was awesome and I was so proud of him.
(Love Logan's face looking at Rio - isn't that sweet?)
Thanks cutie kids for being their biggest fans!
Austin was taking a break during the game and was giving Rio a play by play while they watched.
This game was on my mom's bday so I had to get a shot of them with their grandma.  She was a great supporter this season.
One night as the season progressed, it was getting darker and darker at their games so their cute coach brought them glow bracelets so we could see them :)
They all LOVED them so much!
Woo-hoo!
What a great season boys!
You guys did so awesome.
Jax, you were the best defensive player sweetie - you did not let anyone in that goal zone!  There was no way anyone could score on you!  You are a tough player.
Austin, what a great scorer you are!  I was so proud of you and how hard you worked with such accuracy to get the ball down the field.
I can't wait to see what you do next season!  Keep up the hard work boys!
