Sliding fun and back at the beach

My cute friend Melissa has an absolutely beautiful backyard and so one day near the end of July, we got our little kiddos together to do some super fun sliding on her blow up water slide.
We had such a blast and my kids were in heaven!
Look how fun it is!
Jax is on the bottom squirting the kids up top and the boys on the side are climbing up the ladder to come down.  It is such a great set up.
On the far left, you can see my little Logan playing in the "smaller kid" pool and slide.
Rio came down backwards and did a flip - she loved it so much and is such a brave little girl.
Austin's attempt at going backwards
PS - see Jax still squirting away on the side?  Love him
There's Cash - he is such a good boy.  He's Melissa's oldest and is so sweet
Here...
...we
...all
...GO!
Logan was even loving the big slide.  Once he figured out I could lift him up, he was not having the little slide anymore.   He was all about the big slide and look at him, loving every minute!

We took another trip to Herriman Beach as well that week and just loved it once again.
This time the water was really low though so it was kind of murky but we still had a great time with friends we hadn't seen for awhile (except Meliss of course)
Melissa and her little Jett cooling off under the umbrella.
She looks fabulous - can't believe she's 7 1/2 months pregnant here.
My friends Heather with her little Kate and Jack behind Austin.
Rio, Austin & Jax making nothing but the ever creative "mud soup" - they were so funny and thought it was so much fun to make soup but they weren't too creative on the name :)
My trooper Blake just hanging out under the umbrella playing with toys.  He is such a great baby - always just goes along with whatever we do.
Rio showing off her crab walk
Jett - he's such a cute boy and I'm so glad he and Logan are the same age - so fun!
I hope they'll be great buddies
See what I mean by a little murky?
It was definitely not as clear as usual but it didn't stop these little cuties from having a blast.
My friend Roxy is such an amazing artist.  I went to get my toes done by her and I love them!
So cute - can't wait to go back!
Before we went to the beach, we stopped for a yummy lunch at Sweet Tomatoes with our triplet clan.  There was probably 10 families there and we loved spending time with our friends!

Halle's bday

First had to post this cute pic of my adorable and sweet friend Marci and I.  We were enjoying a wonderful evening with our dear triplet mama friend Kara who was in town.  I was so so glad to see her and have missed her so much.
I'm going to have to find the pic of all of us that night at dinner but this was Marci and I enjoying our delicious Turtle Pie at Leatherby's. YUMMY!
Rio is such an amazing helper with the "little boys" - she loves to hold Blake and feed him and always tries to make him smile.  I'm so grateful for my second mommy to help with these little ones.
Blake looks cozy doesn't he?...not so much
We love all of our cousins so much and in the summer, we get to celebrate Halle's bday.
This year she turns 5!
Look how cute she is hiding behind her presents.
Getting ready to open gifts
Jax with one of his favorite cousins Zak!  He loves playing around with him
Love seeing these four together - it's so cute!
*Austin, Rio, Jax, Halle*
Awe...the Fankhauser family - love them so much!
*Jax, Rio, Blake, Logan, Halle and Austin*
Opening up our gift to her...a wonderful supply of decorating tapes.  Rio has one and absolutely loves it so we figured Halle would too...and she did!
Just had to include this one of Jax - I love his expressive little face so much!
And had to include this too - Anna just loves Uncle Spencer.  She is so sweet and loves to give him hugs
Getting out the yummy treats - I just love all these cute kids.  They love being together
Gabe, Blake and my mom
Trying...
...to get a good pic...
...with my Austin.  Not happening today but man, he's a cutie!
Happy birthday Halle!  We love you

Hike #3 - Doughnut Falls

Hike #3 - here we come!
Doughnut Falls is absolutely gorgeous!  We didn't attempt it last year but I figured we could give a try this year.
*Carson, Lucas, Avery, Austin, Jax, Reese & Rio*
My cute boys taking a rest...
not sure what Austin's face is doing but they were enjoying this little hike
*Austin, Jax, Logan, Rio & Avery*
Roxy had brought sacks for the kids to fill up with "treasures"
Oops... he's so cute.  Didn't quite have the balance he thought he did.
The descent down to the Falls
We made it to the Falls!
I brought doughnuts up with us for the kids so they could eat a doughnut at Doughnut Falls :)
Yep, I'll all about the cheesiness
*Rio, Austin, Reese, Avery, Logan, Jax and Lucas and Carson (Roxy's nephew) in front*
This place is beautiful!  I just love hiking with these cuties - they are honestly amazing kids.
Great job kids!
My cute kiddos minus Blake again - he was hanging out with Grandma Marsha - thanks mom!
So glad to have Roxy and her kids that love to do these fun things too!
Going back across the falls was a little tricky...
...the coolest part about it though was watching these little kids just be brave and go for it!
They knew that I had to help Logan and be right by him because he wouldn't walk in the river for too long so I said, "you can do it!  Just go!"  and they did!
Austin, Jax and Lucas took the lead and Rio went right after they did.
Then Reese...
...and Carson and Avery too.
Whew!  They made it to the big rock to rest their very, very cold feet.
Way to go guys!  What a beautiful area and they had a blast once again.
We were almost all the way down the mountain so we had to stop for a quick pic.
Austin was so cute and took mine and Roxy's picture.  He did a pretty good job right?
YAH!
What's next - we've got to do a few more before the cold strikes us.
