Well...our 4th of July started off in the car on a beautiful ride up the mountains to go for a hike with the Morris crew but...after stopping to check tire pressure after the light came on, we discovered a nice bolt in our tire and well, game over for the hike!
So, we coasted carefully down the hill to a Walmart and got our tire fixed and while we did that, we let others out to play at the splash pad near by.
I guess you have to roll with the punches sometimes and this was one of those days. Thank goodness Walmart was open!!!
Good times hanging out at Walmart checking the car in. Makin' good memories!

BRRR..a little cold at first.
But not for Jax apparently.
And nothing, absolutely nothing keeps Logan out of water, cold or more cold - he is in!
I was getting a little hot myself standing there watching them play so...in I went with Blake.
Felt so nice to cool off.
Love this happy, water kid!
Cuties - Logan and Blake
Cooper, Austin and Blake taking a break in the sun together.
Later that night, we joined up again to have a BBQ and do our own mini fireworks and then watch fireworks in Sandy.
It was an awesome show and I loved being together with this gang.
Always such great company.
My attempt at a star design this year. Not like I had hoped but it was cute still.

Grandma always has something fun up her sleeve to play with - BUBBLES!
Best firework show this side of....well, it is fun anyway!
Cutie Blake
Pretty cute gang if you ask me :)
Right there! That is what I am most grateful for in the whole world! The best kids and husband around!
Love you cuties!
Enjoy the show!
Pretty awesome photos with a phone camera right?
Love it. What a fun, fun day!
(and our tire got fixed too - whew!)
So grateful to live in this beautiful country and to enjoy all the freedoms we've been given by so many who were willing to sacrifice even their lives for us to have them.
I love the USA!
