First of all, I have to say that I seriously have the best neighbors in the world. My cute friend Chelle brought over a delicious lunch one day and is so sweet and kind. I envy her thoughtfulness. Thank you so much Chelle for all the little things you do - love you! And we have other neighbors who are organizing a special Christmas thing for Spence and I and the babies. How sweet and selfless! I tell you more about it later on. We are so lucky to have such wonderful people surround us.
All in all, a great week once again! I met with my OB, Dr. F and my favorite nurse this week. They did a quick blood pressure check and a cervix check. Still holding strong - no movement there: thank goodness! Dr. F says that all is good and that he is very happy with how I'm doing. He says that the babies are in a good percentile for weight according to my usound last week and that there isn't anything to be worried about. He's very reassuring and I'm grateful for his expertise. We have the best people on our team :)
The week was pretty typical with work the same and a couple of church things going on too. Thursday was the New Moon premiere! You can roll your eyes at me, I don't care. I loved it and yes, I went to the midnight showing. It was the first night I've stayed awake until then in months! I was quite impressed with myself. The babies were troopers and were kicking like crazy during the movie - so cute. We had so much fun! They must love it too! This pic below is so funny - I think I cover Ang's entire body with my belly! And yes, I saw it more than once too! Thanks Maughans - we love you :)
Friday and Saturday were a crazy days! Friday I did my regular teen podcast with my friend Mat for our website. Then I came home, went VTing which was great too! Then I had the above mentioned 2nd movie plans :) he-he. Later that afternoon, Spence and I took the Fank kids bowling with Sky, Matt and my parents too. I knew I couldn't exactly bowl myself so I figured it would be so fun to make it a family affair. We had a great time - Luke even won everyone the first game. Funny hu? Keep in mind that Luke is 2 years old! We had a great time with everyone. Love you family! By the evening, I was exhausted!!!
Saturday was crazy busy too. Spence and I finally ventured out and went car "looking" not shopping - just looking. We took our 3 bases of the car seats and opened up cars and set them inside to see if they would fit. It was great stealth work - we didn't get bothered by anyone :) We had to run a ton of errands too - take things back, buy things that are "musts" that we didn't have yet.... and so on. It was a busy afternoon! I felt very accomplished however and my body held on well. I could tell I sort of over did it though that evening when I tried to move and my back and legs hurt a bit. Not bad though - no one worry.
This week's physical update: the usual ribs and sleep issues but also a new development has occurred this week: the dreaded kankles and swollen feet :( I notice it more with the type of shoe I wear and how much water I'm drinking that day. They go away though after being put up and not walked on for a bit. So sad, I know. I really wished that wouldn't have happened but if that is the worst, I'll take it.
Great week again and hooray for 28 weeks!
WEEK 28:
So cute. I went to New Moon at midnight too, and it was totally worth it. You look so good and I'm so excited for you guys. I'm in a musical right now and one of the ladies in it with me is having twins and I just love watching her belly grow and I've told her about you and she can't even imagine having 3 in her belly. I just love it. You really look so good.
