Week 27 - a little more physically rough

Yes, it's true. My body is doing well still but I'm definitely feeling the "uncomfort" more lately. My "new bed" is great but even then, I wake up every time I move which is more annoying than anything. It's okay though - as long as they as growing and are doing okay, I'm okay for the rest of this journey for as long as that can mean. I'm so grateful for this entire experience and the miracle that it is so I can't complain too much - but just a little is okay right?

This week was another great week. I'm only one week away from my 3rd goal - 28 weeks. Woo-hoo! Then only 2 left. Some people think I'm nuts for thinking that I could go that long but I can be delusional can't I and wishful thinking? It's gotten me this far!

I had a few church things in the evenings and a fun girls night too! I went to the dentist this week too and had to be adjusted upwards because when I lay flat back, I feel like I'm going to pass out :( even when I have usounds sometimes. Funny hu? I think that is so weird that it happens. My dental hygienist was very patient and sweet with me and my head placement :)

Alta played in their semi-final game on Friday and the "U" - they lost :( though and so I know Spence was kinda bummed and me too! I love football season because it is so fun to go to all the games and just do something different for a change. I'm sad it's over and so is Spence but I also think he is relieved to have more time again. He's a great coach and the boys love him so much! He's great at it - any college or pro coaching jobs available that any of you know about? I would love for him to do that for his job - he'd be living his passion all the time. O-well.

My mom and dad's side of the family gave me a shower this weekend too. They themed it a "diaper shower" so we got tons and tons of diapers and diaper related items. It was so great! I don't think I'll run out of wipes for quite a while. Thank you Pat for having the shower at your beautiful home and thank you all my fabulous cousins and aunts for coming as well as my sister and her kids and my mom and of course my nurse (and adopted family member) Cristy and Marlee. I'm so grateful for all of you and your support! We wouldn't survive without you all- so thank you again! We are so blessed to have such great people in our lives. I'll upload some pics soon from that.

I also had a doctor appnt on Friday but I forgot to bring the pics to scan in so you'll have to wait until tomorrow or Wed to see the pics and get the update on that. Sorry for the delay - I'll get it up soon though.

Spence and I put the double stroller and car seats together this weekend and put a lot of stuff away so the babies room isn't a disaster as much. I'm feeling the urgency of getting everything all put together very soon. I need to hurry up on some of the things like crib sheets and bedding. Yeah, I still haven't done that yet... we need to still get a new car - boo-hoo - I don't want to. Spence also got things for their closet to help get it organized and ready for clothes - thank you sweetie. He is so great to do so much for me since a lot of the time I feel like a lump on our couch when I get home. I love you Spencer - thank you for all you do. He's amazing and isn't getting as much credit as he deserves probably.
