Settting up the tree!

It's finally December!!
(I'm only about a month behind on my posting -yah! Getting caught up kind of)
Oh my goodness, it's Charlie!  Our little elf came back and we were all so excited to him!
He's a big part of our Christmas and every day the kids have to figure out where he landed after going back to the North Pole to see Santa and report on our behavior.
Austin made Charlie a picture and was so sweet to think of him and make something for him.
Such a sweet boy.
The other thing that came the 1st day of December was their chocolate advent calendars.
They love them and it's so fun to see how excited they get.
We also decorated the tree together as a family that first Monday night of December.
This is always my favorite part.  I love watching the kids find their own ornaments and put them in "their" spot on the tree.
But first, we put up the "non-breakable" ornaments and the kids loved it.
Rio was sure to find the highest spot she could reach to put ornaments on.
She's adorable isn't she?
Logan was excited to participate in the decorating too because usually, it's "no Logan, it's breakable..."
Jax and Austin found their spot.
Daddy handing out their individual ornaments.

They were so thoughtful about placing the ornaments on the tree.  It was honestly so cute to watch.
Spencer too :)
Mommy and my cuties.
I'm a lucky mom.

Showing off some favorite ornaments - Rio loves these stars.
Mommy and the kids and...
...daddy with the kids.
After the decorating festivities, we continued with tradition and had some yummy eggnog.
This kid...he cracks me up - he was totally trying to be funny.
He thinks he is too big for mommy to kiss him, well, we'll see about that!
I love you Austin and I will always give you kisses!
He looks okay with it right?

Jax and Rio enjoyed theirs too!
I love traditions and reasons to celebrate with these cute kids.  They are always so cute and excited too and I love spending time with our entire family!
Best time of the year coming up :)
