St George Trip 2014

We're on our way!
We were so excited to have a family trip together and grateful we could go to St George.
The kids were so so good the whole way in the car.  In fact, our little Logan was great!  He had such a great time watching movies and pointing to everything and I mean EVERYTHING!  He said, "mommy!  a car."  about 500 times but it was so cute because he'd say, "mommy?"  I'd look back and say, "yes, Logan." and he'd say, "a car."  like he'd never said it before.  He's so fun!
And the treasure prize on our trip was the pool of course.  They are all little fishes and just love playing in the water.
And I love the pools there because they have this little tiny one that is 2 feet deep so it's perfect for Logan.
Spence was so much fun with the kids and they all loved playing "dolphin" with him.
Jax is always a little more cautious than the others but he still loves the water and loves being in his monkey floaty.
Rio is quite brave and actually started to swim on her own on this trip.  Austin started to get the hang of it too after a few tries.
It's such a great pool and we had a blast!  I mean, what else would you want to do in the heat?
Me with my little three floaty friends.
One of the afternoons, we decided to go see "Rio 2" with the kids.  I wasn't sure we'd make it through but they did great!  Logan was a little tricky but all in all did great.
Logan enjoyed his popcorn, can you tell?  He looks like a little chipmunk packing it in his cheeks for the winter.
After dinner, we tried to go get shakes for the kids and well, let's just say, some of us couldn't stay awake on the drive.  Rio and Jax were out cold until...
...Spence got the shakes!  They all perked right up after that.
Me and my sweet Blake.  He was so so good on the trip too - not a peep in the car and a great sleeper at night.  He is such a great little baby.
The next day at the pool, Blake was great once again.  He loved all the shadows and trees.
Another afternoon we tried out a fun park that was completely shaded by shade tents.  Great idea right?
Logan and Spence ready to go sliding.
Austin takes after me and gets a red face as soon as he gets hot.  He had a blast though at this park.
Spence showin' the boys how it's done on the rock wall.
Logan and Austin giving it a try...
Doesn't this park look fun?  The entrance was through this rock hole and right onto the rope bridge.
Rio was NOT loving the heat.  She stayed under a little shady tree most of the time.  I was a little worried she had heat exhaustion.
Me and the big boys getting ready to leave this hot hot park.  We had lots of fun though.
SWIG!
We had to give it a try from hearing all about it on the news.
DELICIOUS!
Huge cookies just perfect for the kids!
Logan LOVES his treats and this cookie was just the right size.
YUMMY!
Don't you love that Jax has his goggles on?
He is such a fun kid!
Instead of a cookie, Spence and I tried a "Dirty Dr. Pepper" - it was yummy!

*We had a great trip and so much fun together.  It's rare that we get away from home with all our little ones but we had such a great time and were so glad to have that time*
