St. Patrick's Day - tryin' to catch him again!

This year of course I wanted to do some fun things for the kids to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.  I'm kind of nerdy like that I guess but I love all the holidays and the fun, magical things they bring.  It's such a short time that "Magic" exists in their world so I want to take advantage when I can :)
We went over to my friend Roxy's again this year to make traps to try and get that pesky Leprechaun.
They had such a great time decorating and Logan was super involved as well which was so cute!
All decked out in their St. Patty's shirts :)
Roxy and her kiddies and nephew decorating their trap
"Cheese!"
I loved Logan's shirt - it said "Little Shamrocker" - so cute and so fitting for this little cutie

The finished product - they did such a great job!
The kids made these cute hats and beards at preschool!  I just loved them so much
The night before St. Patrick's Day, the kids got their trap all set up and put the green Lucky Charms out to tempt him...
You can't really tell but they are pointing to a little green coin they set out to tempt him as well toward the trap in case he came in from upstairs
Getting it all tilted and ready for the completed spot
WHOA!  My belly looks huge!
After the kiddies were in bed, the real fun began for Spence and I.
We got their rainbows ready and the decorations out to appear as though our little, sneaky friend had visited us.
What a nice Leprechaun!  He left all the kids their own rainbow, marshmallow clouds and chocolate, gold coins
St. Patrick's Day arrived!
The kids were thrilled coming down the stairs to find that he had left them their rainbows
Oh man...he escaped again!
What cute little footprints he left behind however and he ate all their Lucky Charms!
Once again, he peed in the toilet and left his "green pee" behind which the kids thought was hilarious!  They also loved that he used the step stool to wash his hands - Hee-hee
Oh and yes...he left them a shamrock note as well...
what a tricky, sneaky little Leprechaun!
Better luck next year cute kids!
