The last week of my pregnancy with this baby, I was so tired and SO HUGE and couldn't...well didn't really want to move around too much.
However, the kids filled up their sticker charts and I couldn't tell them, "sorry kids, I know you've worked really hard to fill these up but too bad, mommy is tired and doesn't want to do anything."
So we ventured out, contractions and all and headed to the dollar store so they could get their reward.
They all wanted to get silly string for their award this time - silly kids and so that is what they got!
We walked over to an area near our place and sprayed and sprayed the string!
Rio and Jax opening up their spray
If you can guess, who do you think sprayed Austin in the face?
Well if you guessed Jax, you'd be right!
Austin was not a fan of that but he survived :)
Rio and Jax together and happy as could be
Woo-hoo! Go Aust!
Rio's spray was a little more circular and crazy than straight - she was on cloud 9
Jax's close up! And well, he was out of spray in about 60 seconds! He is so funny - just absolutely loves things and loves them fast!
I love Jax's face - he was worried it was coming to get him
I tried my best to get them to run around with their string and get a picture but it was rather challenging to capture the string floating in the air...
They were so cute and so happy to have their string!
On a side note...
we've all been a little ungrateful lately so I decided to make a "Gratitude Tree" and each day we all put a blossom on the tree and said what we were grateful for that day.
It has been so much fun and the kids LOVE it! Every day while eating breakfast one of them will remind me about our tree. It has been really great for our family to remember how blessed we are and how much we have to be grateful for. The one thing I have been so impressed with, is how the kids aren't just saying things like,"my toys, my family..." (not that those aren't important) but they've been remembering things like, "Jesus. That we can live with Heavenly Father again. That Jesus died for us...." It's been so sweet to know that their testimonies are growing. I'm so grateful for the gospel and the growing testimonies of my kids!
