Snow Day, Scheels & a tired & patient Papa

I have had to work a lot in December and so I was asking a lot of my fabulous parents and my fabulous in laws.  One day, another happy snowing day, I had to work in the morning but when I got back, the kids were absolutely insistent upon playing in the snow.  THEY LOVE IT! It is so funny to me how much they love playing in the snow - I am so very grateful they are so content with anything that comes their way - they are such happy little kiddos.
Austin in yellow and Rio got out their sand buckets and shovels and got to diggin!
Pretty sure Austin was making a snow ball here and poor Rio's gloves kept falling off so her little arms were freezing :(
Needless to say, she bounced back fairly quick!  They started to play with all their bikes and tricycles...probably should have put those as well as the picnic tables away before the snow.  Oops!

Later that night, Spence and I decided it was time to hit up Scheels and see what it was all about - we hadn't been there yet so we wanted to check it out.
Well, of course the highlight of the evening was the Ferris wheel - the kids were SO excited and we even ran into Santa there that night.

Here they go! Up, up, up!
I saved this pic for last because I love it so much!  I had got back from work and this is what I came home to - an awesome (and possibly exhausted) Papa Ranger letting the kids pile all their blankets and pillow and toys onto him and well, even Lennox decided he would pile on Papa.  Hilarious!! He was all smiles though - what a great Papa he is!
*I'm so lucky to have the greatest sets of grandparents my kids could ask for*
