Goodbye Cribs and Hello Big Kid Beds

Last December when I found out I was pregnant with Logan, both Spence and I started to think of the logistics of just how we were going to have space for him.  Yah, we could have thought of that before doing IVF again I suppose :)
Anyway, our plan since then has been to have Logan be the "transported/rotating bedroom child" until the triplets turned 3 in December and then we'd get them big kid beds.  Totally worked out but yes, poor little Logan slept mostly in the laundry room for those 4 months; he called it home though :)
So for their birthdays they got sheets, comforters and a dream light to help them transition to their beds and oh my goodness!  They have done incredible!!  They LOVE their beds and they LOVE sleeping together again.  I think Rio is so happy to be back with her brothers and to have everyone where they should be.
Jax saying goodbye to his cozy crib & his crib tent - he was quite concerned when we were taking them down but did a great job!
Rio is holding her crib tent sticks after we took it off and she was thrilled to see it gone and to see her crib get taken down.  She was a really good helper actually.
Austin, as I've said before is daddy's best helper and he was under and through and in the cribs helping us take them down with daddy's "tools"
Here they are!! The boys in their bunk beds and Rio in her cozy bed.
Rio chose princess sheets with a butterfly comforter (I found these adorable comforters that came with a matching stuffed animal - adorable!!) & butterfly
Austin chose Cars sheets with a shark comforter & shark
Jax chose Toy Story sheets with a dinosaur comforter & dinosaur
*Well, I kind of helped them choose since I knew they would have to have "their" color on their beds*
Jax is showing off his penguin dream light in the background and his new bestie, Dinosaur
Rio did actually choose her comforter.  I let her look at the pictures online and she chose this cute butterfly design - she loves her butterfly
 Look out!!
Jaws is coming to get you - Austin loves his "sharky" and plays with his almost everyday
And finally....Logan got his very own room.
It was so weird for Spencer and I to see this room look so empty and bare but I'm so glad Logan has his own place and feels so comfortable in there.
*It was tough for me emotionally to take their cribs down, I got tears quite a few times and especially as we tucked them in that first night, my little babies aren't babies... they're big 3 year olds!  I told Spence it's a good thing we have baby Logan or I would have really had a hard time - ha-ha
