Wait! Me Too!
Apparently, Jax heard the word about Rio's feeding tube and decided he wanted his out too! He is doing great with eating now. We are so grateful for his nurse that challenged him to eat without his tube - she is great! Sometimes (and understandably so) the nurses get so busy that I think it is easier for them to tube feed them but this sweet nurse challenged Jax and he was able to do it! Yeah! I'm not surprised! He is so strong and proves everyone wrong all the time! We have exciting news coming up so stay tuned....

man, you can tell these little ones have such "Old and strong" spirits. They truly are going to make a difference in this world, they already are. Can't wait to hear the good news.
ReplyDeleteYay, Good Job Jax, And I am Sure he heard what was going on, I remember being in the NICU and the nurse telling me that Danica did not like me leaving, after I would leave and she could no longer hear my voice she would cry and even tried crawling out or should I say wiggle out from the isollete. These kids are amazing, I hope your great news is all of them will come home at the same time..

So happy for you! As soon as Jack pulled his feeding tube out he ate everything! I also agree that sometimes it is just easier for the nurses to just tube feed. We had an awesome nurse who we think really helped us get Jack home. Can't wait for the god news !
