Just some cute pics I had to share...

Just a side note, thanks to whoever who created these great blogs so I can post all of my pictures and print them to keep as a journal for me and the kids.  Yes, I know it only includes the "happy" times and "cute" pics but I love knowing I have these memories forever!
Papa Dougie with Blake
This little one sure loves his grandpa!  I am so grateful for my dad who is always willing to watch my littles for me whenever he can.  Love you dad!
Blake LOVES his siblings and he loves it when they make him laugh and no one makes him laugh harder or longer than Austin!
He is such a great brother and I'm so grateful for all the help he is to me.
I caught this cute moment on our way out the door to church one day.

Rio is so super creative and she absolutely loves drawing and she is pretty good at it too!
I just love her so much and I love that she is always willing to draw mom and dad her beautiful creations.
The first is the world, a heart rainbow, me watering our flowers with the beautiful sunshine, and another rainbow - she knows how much I love rainbows :)

The kids went shopping with me for the B&G banquet for scouts one day and so they got a yummy sucker for being great helpers.
They always want a "giant lollipop" so that day, they finally got one and they were SO happy!
Well...almost all of them!
Austin's broke coming out of the plastic wrap - poor little guy.
I asked him to at least try and smile and here is what I got!
I just love him - he is such a character!

YIKES! 5 year old shot time

It was the triplets 5 year old WCC time.  They were so excited to see how tall they'd gotten and check their eyes (I know, they'll sort of silly) but they were excited.  I had prepared for the fact that they were getting shots and so they were mostly prepared for that.  Poor Austin remembered however how it hurts because just about a month ago, he had to get an antibiotic shot so poor kid was a little nervous because he knew what was coming.
However, these 3 were troopers!
Not one tear from Austin or Jax and Rio only a little tear or two; mostly because I think she was shocked there was another one after the first hurt.  Cute girl :(  She handled it super well though.  So proud of you guys!
Group pics for them - they were so happy to have done it together and proud they did awesome with their shots!
They're all super healthy and growing just like they should be.
After the shots, came a yummy treat.  (mostly because I feel sad they had to hurt)

Way to go guys!  Enjoy those yummy Slurpees - you earned them!
Love you 3 so much and I'm so proud of you and how brave you were and for all that you are learning!

Superbowl XLIX with the Morris crew

SUPERBOWL XLIX
Okay, I'll admit it.  Since having kids, I am not the avid football watcher as I used to be - makes me sad but 'tis the phase of life right now right?  It's okay for now because we still have a fun little gathering to watch the game each year.
Erin and Jon were in town this weekend so of course, we had to watch the game together.
These crazy fans... Austin was in heaven hanging on with Kari - good thing she didn't care to watch the entire game :)
*Jon, Spence, Marc, Kari and Austin, Erin and Cooper*
Ranger, Andrew and Bonnie also stopped by for a quick bit to say hello which was fun.  Kisty was at home with sick kiddos.
This is where the REAL party was all night!
Looks like it right?
PLAY, PLAY and PLAY with the cousins.  Such a fun time - they had a great time together too!
I just love Erin and am always so glad when she can visit with her little gang.
I did watch the last few seconds and the game and I have to say, I was a little disappointed at the last play that made the Patriots win.  I like them too but I was hoping for the Seahawks this year.  O-well.. GO PATRIOTS!

January pics 2015 - lots of cute ones

Oh how I love this girl of mine!
She is THE SWEETEST sister.  Honestly, our home would not be the same without her - she brings so much more gentleness and thoughtfulness to all of us.  Here is another great example of that...
Rio was so sweet one day and was reading to her little doll when she noticed little Blake and decided to read to him as well.  She picked him up and put him on this Elmo chair and started reading to him and showing him picture albums.
How incredibly sweet right?  Blake was in heaven and loved every minute of it.  Plus, he is such a good baby and just sat there happy.  Darling pic - I'll treasure this one forever!
Out for a walk one afternoon with this cutie pie - I love his beautiful blue eyes!
Great helper I've got!
Logan loves the vacuum like most kids do and will always help me out if I need it.  Thanks little guy!
HAD to post this one.  These two boys (Spence and Andrew) spent honestly 10 or more hours putting our fireplace together.  There was a piece we wanted to go around it and man...it took a lot more work and time than even they had expected.
Thank you so much boys - it looks so much better now!
If you ever need anything done right and beautifully, these two are who to call.
Can you say Logan?
Um..yah..this was his doing and his doing alone.  One day, he went in the toy room and just starting dumping and dumping and dumping...
Apparently, I was also a "dumper" as a kid - I guess I'm getting a taste of my own medicine :)
However...
All the kids joined in with me to help pick up and ta-da!
Looks beautiful once again.
They are all awesome cleaners.
After the clean-up was done, they wanted me to take "silly face" pics of them so of course I did.
Love these 5 kids so much.  They are always so much fun and our little Blake is just getting SO big!
Oh my Jax.
This kid LOVES his hats.  He got this new one for Christmas and one night I went to check on them before going to bed and found him asleep with his hat on.  Love him so much!  You look adorable sleeping.

Making good use of our bday gifts & farewell dinner

I mentioned previously that the triplets got a bunch of games for their bdays but they also got some really fun craft things and even a candle making kit.
These fun things were from Grandma and Grandpa Morris - the boys got a coloring, drawing, swirling, creating kit and Rio got a little Barbie clothes designing kit.  So much fun - we haven't stopped playing with them still!
We had a farewell dinner at our house before Kristin and the kids left so we could hang out one more time and the kids were so excited which I loved to see.
*Grandma, Ethan and Cole*
*Logan, Hayden, Austin, Ty, Rio, Brinlee and Jax*
*Kari, Kristin, Kisty, Andrew (and Preston), Richard and Marc*
A day or so after that, the kids got out their candle making kits they got from Marc and Kari and were so excited to make these fun candles.
Luckily, there was a 4th candle so the kids were more than willing to share with Logan.  He was thrilled!
Spence helping Jax with his design - he's a little particular that one...well, they both are.  They make a great team!
Rio loved it - she's a crafty gal and loves anything cutesie :)
Austin took his time making his as well and had a lot of fun making his unique design too.
Jax was finished - looks pretty awesome I think.

And ta-da!  All done.  What a fun gift - they were proud to say they made their own candles... Well, actually the wicks didn't work so we put out own candles in to light them up but they designed the fun beads and bowls.
Great job kids!
That was a really fun gift and project.
