Blake's birthday with the Morris crew's bdays

Well, on the Morris side, we also get to celebrate multiple birthdays right near Blake's - so fun!
It's Ethan's, Preston's, Blake's and Cooper's all within a week!
Let the party begin!
*Jax, Ethan and Rio*
WOW!
What a fun gift!
Thanks Uncle Andrew & Aunt Kisty and Ethan and Preston too.
All the little boys got new bubble lawnmowers for their birthdays - they loved them.
...and bubbles too!
Preston's turn.
And now Ethan's too.
(Cooper and the Poseys are still in Idaho so we didn't get to see them)
Well, Blake is not shockingly obsessed with Mario and Luigi so of course, that was his request for a cake.
Turned out pretty cute I think for this little 2 year old!
All 3 cakes together:
Ethan's, Preston's and Blake's
Get ready to enjoy it buddy.
Cute March birthday boys!
Thanks Morris clan for coming to enjoy our birthdays with us!
We love you!

Happy Birthday Blake!
We love you so much sweetheart.  You have brought so much joy into our family.
What a fun year it has been with you - lots and lots of firsts.
At 13 months, you said about 4 words or so! WOW! "uh-oh, hey!, kick, kick and mama" were your firsts and then you took a little break from talking and worked really hard on walking and crawling since those things hadn't happened yet.  I think because whenever you cried, you had at least 5 people nearby to give you whatever you wanted so there was honestly no need to move :)
However, you were army crawling since about 10 months but then you would roll and roll all over without really crawling so...at 14 months, you FINALLY started to "really" crawl, walk around furniture, climbing up stairs and even stand up from sitting.
Then at 15 months, you officially walked!  And once you mastered that, you were on to more speaking and you have been a little parrot ever since!  You copy mommy, daddy and all the kids - we all LOVE it!
This summer when you were about 18 months when we would be driving in the car, the kids would say words and you would just repeat everything they said, we would just laugh and laugh because you were so cute and so intent on saying what they said.  Oh, how I hope they will always be a good example for you.
At 15 months, you were even trying to sing and would say, "e-i-e-i-o" for Old McDonald - pretty awesome for a little guy! Between the ages of 16-18 months you started saying, "daddy, bye guys, hi guys, sorry, shoe, show and here you go!"  You knew 5 letter sounds too - A,B,C,P, and S.
You are a very friendly little boy too and love to wave and smile at everyone you see and it even makes you sad when people don't respond to you.  You'd love waving at everyone you'd see!  You are such a loving little boy as well and give hugs and kisses to all of us all day and you would even say, "aww.." when you would hug us.  One of my favorite things you would say around this same time was, "mommy Rio."  When I didn't answer quick enough or when I told you "no," you would quickly say, "mommy Rio?!?!"  She would come running and responded to you so fast.  She just loves you and you love her and your brothers so much honey.  You absolutely love being with everyone!
Such a sweet boy Blake.
Around 21 months, daddy introduced you to the song, "Final Countdown" and oh boy, did you love that song!  You would ask for it all day, I even took a video of you asking for it one day because it was so cute how much you loved listening to it.
Another favorite of mine was not only did you parrot language but you would parrot behavior and it was so cute! When someone would get hurt, you would run over to them and say, "sorry, you're okay!"  You would try really hard to comfort people if they were sad.
Lastly, right before you turned two, daddy and I started to notice your love for temples.  Every time we would drive by one, you would say, "temple" and you would climb up by our bathroom window to look out and see the Oquirrh Mountain Temple every day for many months.  You would say, "temple on fire" because you'd see it glowing in the sun or the lights on at night.  You knew it was such a great place.  Oh how I hope you always have a testimony of the temples and how special they are,  Blake you gave me lots and lots of anxiety while I was pregnant with you and since then, I've tried really hard to not worry about you but somehow I always do.  I often think something is more wrong with you than it is or I am quicker to try and fix things with you and always in the back of my mind I worry that those little calcifications are going to come back and cause issues.  But...that's my weird old brain and I'll work on it for at least the next 18 years but probably more :)
I love you, you are one special little guy and I thank Heavenly Father every day for you and letting us have you in our family.  I can't wait to see who you become and how much your love for people grows.  Your daddy loves you and loves to come and get you out of your bed every morning and show you what is new outside.  He plays the best music for you and you love to dance and sing!  Since you finally started walking, you haven't run out of energy for one second - you love to run, jump on the tramp and play outside.  You are not the best eater however and really don't like eating meat unless it's chicken nuggets :)  I'm hoping this is just a phase because you are a little tricky to feed cutie pie.  Happy 2nd birthday Blake, I love you, I adore your little personality and love giving you hugs and kisses.
