Our own little nest & chalk fun

We had honestly just put our trees in and bam!  We already had a little robin decide to make a nest in our tree out front.

Each time I see a nest, I am completely amazed at the ability these birds have to be so patient and exact in their building.

Isn't that a beautiful nest?

They are so strong and precise, it is just amazing.

I kept seeing this robin go back and forth and back and forth and then...

 ...a few days later, we had 3 little eggs inside.

They hatched and lived in our yard for a few weeks and then were off into the world.

It was a fun experience for these kids!

CHALK FUN

 Blake didn't do much drawing - he preferred eating it :(  YUCK!

 Rio and Logan had so much fun one afternoon while the big boys were at a friends house.  These two just loved the time they had to draw and draw.

 Rio's masterpiece - herself!  So cute.  I traced their bodies and they designed them.

Doesn't that look just like Logan?

He was so proud of himself.
