I must have talked about how much I love Halloween and the fall season because at the end of September, my kids were obsessed with talking about Halloween and trick or treating and what costumes they wanted to wear. I was in heaven :)
I LOVE Halloween so I was thrilled they were so excited but the constant asking of when it was got a bit overwhelming times 3 so I decided to make countdown chains with them.
Aren't they so cute? Love it! They were so excited to hang them up and without fail, they took off a chain link each night and we had a blast counting down
To start off the season as well, we of course had to attend Barnyard Boo at Thanksgiving Point. I love it and the kids have so much fun because there is SO MUCH to do there!
This year we got to go with Aunt Erin and Cole
The kids started out playing tic-tac-spider and winning candy prizes
Then they got to make little decorations with ghosts, cats, pumpkins, spiders and spider webs. They even got to put their names on them with little sticky letters
We moved outside to do all the fun outside stuff next and started with bowling - go Austin!
Then it was the snake throw into the witches cauldron - Jax loved it
Logan even joined in by doing part of the obstacle course
Well, he tried at least - couldn't quite get that chubby little leg over the big tire :)
Austin throwing his snakes
Rio tried to throw the snakes in by using the broom instead of her hands - don't think she was very fond of the snakes
Onto the pony rides we went!
Isn't this bunny adorable? What in the world right? He looks like he has got some pretty long hair - Erin and I could not stop laughing - what a cute little bunny
We couldn't miss the ghost throw! Rio did awesome and got a few ghosts into those buckets - pretty cool!
Right before Erin and Cole left, we got a quick pic of all the kiddies
*Cole, Austin, Jax, Rio and Logan*
Our last activity was to make some green slime and then make it through the spider web - once again, Logan saw the "big" kids doing it and of course had to give it a try! They had a blast!
Happy Halloween @ Barnyard Boo!
Austin was the only one who would sit by the mummy :)
