I'm surrounded by crazies!

Such random pictures but I love them!
Crazy, silly, happy joy!
Crazy silly boys!  Case is a staple in our home now and we all love it!
He's a darling kid and always so happy and easy for my boys.

Case is Back! Yahoo! & Darling Rio - best sister ever!

I got a call from their bestie that moved away in March, (Case's mom, Jodi) one day and she said, "sit down.  I have to tell you something."  Come to find out, they are moving back from St. George and into our neighborhood!
YAH!
The kids were thrilled!

Rio is seriously the cutest sister.  She finds the most creative ways to play and Blake is always game and usually Logan too.
So much fun.  A box car?  Yes, please and then it turns into a bed?  WHAT?  Coolest idea!
I'll join you Blake...I don't think he liked it very much - HAHA!
Love their relationship so much.

Lindon Pool & Movies w/ friends

This pool is SO much fun.  It has a little kid area and a lazy river and a pool area and slides too.  My kids asked to go a lot this summer so we had to go a couple of times and why not ask friends to go with us?!?
Charmoin and her littlest Phoenix came and Alicia with her little crew as well.
They have this wave rider too and it is so fun to watch.  Kids are still too small to do it themselves but soon enough, it will be them trying it out.
Oh melt my heart!  Love these kids and the fun they have in the water.  Makes me want to move to a warm ocean area...
sort of :)
Melissa came with her crew of kiddos as well.  Such cute boys and my kids always have fun with them.
Yah for summer fun!
We went another day this summer too so I thought I'd add these pics here as well.
We took Case with us this time too.
Summer fun, can't get much better than this!

Another day shortly after, we joined the Hawkins and Herrons for a movie.
They loved the movie - a repeat of Hotel Transylvania but it's always a good one.
After the movie, we headed to chick-fil-a for lunch.  Love our friends and neighbors.  I hope they stay friends for a long time!

Aquarium in the summer & cuddles with Blake

My kids love the aquarium and we got to go with a bunch of friends today; the Galloways and the Hawkins.
Crew, Austin, Jax, Avery
Don't you just love Rio pointing her toes in this pic?  LOVE HER!
Crazy crew!
*Riley, Rio, Jax, Austin and Avery*
Slurpee time!  Why not?  It's hot!
A day or two after that trip, Blake got kind of sick and wasn't up for much playing but he sure was ready to cuddle with mommy.
He is the best cuddler!  None of our other kiddos were much of cuddlers but he totally is and Spence and I just love it!
I love you Blakey - always and forever!
Thanks for cuddling with me.  Lucky mom.

Bear Lake Trip 8/16

I could not include all pics and an amazing story in this blog post so I added just a few and then you can look at the separate Shutterfly book to see all the awesomeness of this trip.
It was one for the books for sure.
We love Bear Lake and love being together at the beach and pool.
We even got to go wave running this year and it was a blast!
We had an amazingly awesome experience of faith, love, spiritual guidance and angels surrounding us.
A-Mazing!
Pool fun!
An adventure to never forget!
Trying to keep the kids calm and distracted...
Bloomington Lake

Next, we got to go wave running - the kids loved it!

Love this family of ours.
We had so much fun together and I will never forget this awesome trip!  I hope the kids never do either.

Logan turns 4! Happy Birthday Logan

How?  How did this happen?
4?  He is such an awesome kid!  He is all joy (70% of the time).
No one can beat him when it comes to having fun and wanting to be happy.
(However, no one can beat him when it comes to being grumpy either)
Happiest birthday Logan!
We love you so much and are so grateful for you in our family.  It wouldn't be the same at all!
Logan LOVES colored pancakes!  They are his favorite thing to make so of course, we made them for his birthday breakfast!
So excited to see what he got!
He was so excited for his presents.
Logan got a new football, basketball, scooter, video game and some clothes.
Blake decided to build a tower of pillows so they could throw the ball off of it :)

Later that day, we had the family over to celebrate Logan more!
(Do you love how Jax is in most pictures "helping")
Logan got some great Star Wars things, games and clothes from his aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.
He was so happy to be with everyone.
That face...so dang adorable.
Daddy helping unwrap Logan's money from my parents.
Halle is so sweet  - such a loving cousin.

These are a little out of order and we took these on everyone's way out but had to add them in somewhere.
Love these 5 kiddos!  A-DORABLE!

Next was cake time!
We made Logan a #4 cake with Spiderman, Captain America and Doc Oc.
(If you see Luke in the background holding his eye, it is because he and Jax totally had a huge collision into each other and it was bad!  They both got kind of dizzy and a little black out.  So sad)
However, it was a great party and Logan had a fun time with everyone.  We are so grateful for those that could make it.  We are grateful for our family and their time they spend with us.
This year some of Logan's favorites are:
FOOD:  Pizza
COLOR: Blue or Orange
THING TO DO: play outside on the tramp with dad and kids, play on the I-pad or video games
TV SHOW:  Blaze or Team Umizumi
MOVIE:  Cars
*Every night, he says, "I love you" at bedtime*
*Adores his older brothers and gets bad at us when we get angry with them or put them in time-out - he's so protective of them*
*You make friends easily but love playing with our neighbor Nick the best*
*You weighed 40lbs and were 42" at your 4 year WCC*
*Some of our favorite things you say are, "Of course!" & "Absolutely!"*
*You attended Little Gym a couple days a week from Aug '15 - June '16 and then started at Corner Canyon Academy in the fall of '16 right before your birthday.

Logan, you are such a joy, honestly.   You are hard, hard sometimes and are a very stubborn little boy.  But, you know what you want and you expect others to be happy and kind all the time.  If we aren't, you get angry with us and think we're being mean.
Part of what we love about you is your smile and laugh.  You love to be happy and are always making us laugh or cry.  Hot and Cold is how I have described you before.  You continue to have an "old soul" and one that doesn't like conflict unless you're causing it :)
You love your daddy and love playing with him.  You and mommy are either best buds or you are angry with me because I'm not "being fun" - you don't say that but I'm sure that is why.
You love visiting the aquarium and farm country.  You have gone to Terrific Tots at Little Gym this year where you can play, read and do crafts.  It was so fun.
One experience I will never forget is that one of your teachers at the beginning of the year wasn't very kind at times.  One time (this was probably in the fall of 2015), you had to go potty and did such a good job all by yourself  especially since most boys in your class weren't trained at all!  You must have peed on the seat a little bit and your teacher (who ended up leaving her job a month later), said to you in a mad voice, "ugh! you peed on the seat!"  You told me that you said, "I didn't know I did and sorry."  You told me you that she said, "don't do it again!"
After school that day and for a few days after, you told me you didn't want to go anymore and didn't like it there.  We talked about it and I finally figured out that you didn't like that she didn't apologize to you for talking mad at you.  I could tell that you really needed an apology and knew that people shouldn't talk that way, even to kids.  And sweetheart, you are right!  I held your hand and took you inside one morning before school and told the teacher what you had said happened and that you needed an apology because it made you feel so sad.  Normally, I wouldn't have done that because I know kids can be kids and say things but I knew that your little old soul needed it to be okay by the way you acted and what you were telling me.
And...she apologized and said she didn't mean to say it in a mean voice and that you must have misunderstood her.  It worked and you were always okay to go back every day from then on.
I adore you Logan.  You are a very unique little boy.  I wonder daily who you will become.  I pray for your stubborn heart to be softened but firm in faith and goodness.
Happy 4th birthday!
