Our porch is ready for a "spooky" Halloween

My favorite season is upon us...I love the fall and I LOVE Halloween so I was so excited to decorate for it too.
I found these really large spiders and some webbing so Spence and I got it all up, Rio got in her witches costume and we gathered all the gourds from our garden and out we went to decorate!
Such happy kiddos!
Eeek...spiders!
Had to add all of these because the kids faces are so dang cute!
Spence did awesome getting the spiders up and ready to spook the "Trick or Treaters."
Oh man...I love these kids!  They are so fun and so unique and special.  I just love it!
Happy Halloween!

Luke's bday

Happy 8th birthday Luke!
This little boy turned 8 and chose to be baptized and we are so happy for him.  He chose to follow after the Savior's example and we are proud of his decision.  He is such a cutie, little guy with a very interesting and very smart personality.
Love that Luke!
Singing happy birthday together for Luke and now it's time for cake!
I love Logan's face looking up at Sky - what is the kid thinking??? I wish I knew :)
Love this kiddos so much!  They really are great kids and great friends!
Grandma Marsha, Papa Dougie and Luke
All the Fank kids - love this bunch of 6!

Park Day

Park day to start off the month of October and it was beautiful.
We had so much fun and got to play with my friend Alicia's little twins, Max and Ellie along with Charmoin and her Phoenix and Melissa and her two littles, Jagger and Jett.
Austin was in complete heaven with this little Ellie.  He just loves babies, especially girl babies.  It was so, so cute to watch him with her.  He was so sweet to her and had so much fun!
Of course, the playground was not fun enough so we had to find the sprinklers and get completely drenched because well, why not?
Time to dry out.
My Blake and Alicia's little Max playing in the water too.
And the two trouble makers...I mean, Jett and Logan (haha) on the slide and having a blast!

Soccer season once again

This year we decided to sign the boys up with USA soccer instead of through the city Rec.
It seems a little more organized and allows the kids to play more as well which is always great.
Since Rio totally loved it last season...NOT AT ALL...we just signed the boys up with some of their best buddies around here; Case and Riley.  They are loving it and having so much fun.  They both need to be more aggressive at going after the ball but are doing a great job.
Austin loves to score and Jax loves to not let the other team score :)
Good combo right?
This is how the other kids roll which watching the games - so fun!
Do they look hot to you?
Shows they did some great running.  That is why I love soccer - I love that it makes them run and move!  Just what boys should do!
Great job boys!  Love you both so much!
They are the blue gators this season and they will start playing again in the Spring with this same team.

Getting ready for Halloween

Oh yah!
My favorite season is upon us..
and I absolutely love Halloween so it is time to get it all out and decorate!
These three were more than happy to help!
 *Austin*
He's such a goof ball - love his silly side.
 *Rio*
PS - love her pointed toe don't you?
Oh and my Jax.  He had found Spence's old stuffed animals and loved this parrot - he's such a cutie.

Gardner Village by Train

It's time for our annual triplet train and Gardner Village Day.
It was so fun to go this day because the weather was beautiful and I love Gardner Village near and at Halloween time - so, so fun!
*Karson, Avery, Rio, Hunter, Lucas, Kaden, Lia, Reese, Jax, Logan, Austin and Blake*
Oh how I love my fabulous 5!
Logan was not having the witch next to us so that's why he is on my lap and at the other end of the bench - love him!  He does not like witches, not one bit!
Here's a side note, Rio's flip flops may look a little big and mine.. well, they may look a little like a pedicure style of flip flop...stay tuned.
Cutie bunch those kiddos!  We were waiting for our train to come get us to take us home.
And now, the flip flop story...
As soon as we got off the train to get to Gardner Village, Rio's little flip flop just broke right at the toe part which will not keep her flip flop on at all so....I tried to find some flip flops at GV without avail and well, she couldn't go barefoot so I gave her mine and then I had to go into the spa and get some of their pedicure paper flip flops.
Love little Rio - she is just like me and LOVES flip flops so she was super duper sad they broke.
Oh no...what is funny is by the time we were done walking around GV, walking to the train - my super cool flip flops broke too - HAHA...good thing we were coming home :)

Tracy Aviary

I always love visiting the Aviary because I think these amazing birds are so fun to watch and they are so rare so I love that the kids get to see them up close.
Meliss and I went this day with our kiddos and when we got there, we realized there were NO bird show times - what a disappointment because that is the best part because the kids get to participate in the show and well, because I have lots of kids, one of them is always bound to be a part of it!
However, when we strolled over to where the show is, these really sweet, nice workers decided that we could watch their training session they were doing.
How nice is that?
Jax got to feed this emu which is way cool I think - I was really proud of him for being so brave!
I love Macaws - they are so beautiful!  I am glad we don't have them in our yard however...they are so loud!
These two little love birds were snuggled up in their nest enjoying the shade.
One of my favorite birds for sure!
My little trio acting like a bunch of birds.
Meet my little owl named Blake.
*Jett*
*My cutie Jax*
Love how these kiddos preform when the camera is out :)  I have no idea why they do that - Haha.
Blake is so happy to take this picture don't you think?
Oh no...crazy faces and I love Rio in the back with her "you guys are strange" face.
Isn't it gorgeous there?  I love this place and can't wait to go back!
Love this friend of  mine - she is the best!
I couldn't be more grateful for her and her friendship for over 30 years!
