Disney Days 2013 @ Gallivan Cntr

Each year, we try and make it to at least one of the "Disney Days" that the Gallivan Center offers.  It is so much fun and full of great activities for the kids.  My SIL Kisty works nearby so she is our "in" when we go.  Thanks Kisty!  We appreciate you so much!

We started out with the train ride!  The kids loved it!  They boys have their "got milk" visors on :)
 Choo-choo!
Rio, Austin, Jax, Kisty and Ethan
Erin and Cole, Brinlee and Hayden led the train
We stopped to color as well - the boys were so excited because they had Monsters Inc coloring pages
Erin, Cole & Grandma Morris enjoying the festivities
My little crew waiting in line
The kids debating whether or not they wanted to play in the cold, dripping water...
 They're getting closer to deciding...
And of course, my Austin ran first and ran straight through the water enjoying every minute!
Brrr... here comes Jax - can you tell it was really cold??
Rio and Jax trying to keep warm by snuggling up together
But Austin completed the warmth :) so he joined in too
Cousin Ethan was getting more daring too
Jax, Hayden, Brinlee, Austin and Rio warming up on the cement
What a fun day!  So glad we went and enjoyed a fun day, fun things and our great family!

Father's Day 2013

We've been so so blessed each year we've been married but this Father's Day I honestly reflected on how lucky we are to have our kids.  IVF is such a blessing and I'm so grateful that we live in a day where medicine is so advanced that we have been able to have children in our home.
Happy Father's Day Spence - you have 4 beautiful children and are a fabulous father; they love you so much!
Daddy and Austin
Jax and Rio joined in the celebrate too :)
This was his card this year - I thought it was SO CUTE since it had 4 hanging monkeys on their daddy - so cute for our family
All the kids and daddy - they were so happy to celebrate with him and spend a Sunday morning together before church since Spence is usually gone at meetings
Just daddy and Logan - he is turning in to quite the daddy's boy - it is so cute!!
We spent some time that evening at my parents celebrating my dad as well - he is such a great grandpa and we are so lucky to have him in our lives.
This last few weeks were quite scary - he spent a week in the hospital for blood clots in his lungs and scared me silly but he is doing okay now.  It was nice to reflect this year on how lucky I am to have a wonderful father who is a helpful, loving grandpa to my kids.
Here is my dad with 8 of his 10 grand kids who were watching and helping him feed his turtle.
There he is!  What a cute little guy - my sister and I gave my dad that turtle probably 10 or more years ago and he is still going strong!
Love all you amazing father's in our lives!  You're the best and we're so lucky to have you influence our lives

Logan started crawling & a Royal Party

My little sweet Logan started crawling on June 20, 2013 at 9 1/2 months and he hasn't stopped moving since!  He was so so happy to start moving around and has loved it!  It is honestly hard to imagine when he wasn't mobile since he is so quick and is now standing up on everything and walks around furniture like a pro!  He is so close to walking...bittersweet moments :)
This was Logan as he watched Lennox and the big kids go outside and the door closed behind them.  He was so sad :(  Poor little guy - he had to wait until mommy cleaned up breakfast to go out with him.  He really thinks he is one of the "big kids"
 Here he goes...
Love this pic - he was cruisin' for a minute and then crashed and was visibly frustrated that he wasn't moving anymore - it was so cute to watch!
Our sweet friend and neighbor Eliza had her birthday party in June and it was adorable!  My friend Chelle, her mom, went to so much work and made this party absolutely royal :)
Here is my kiddos ready to roll on into the party - two handsome princess accompanying a beautiful princess
Guess who popped in at their party??  Yep!  There she is - Cinderella :)
Rio was so excited to meet her and look at all these adorable kids joining her.  We have great friends and neighbors - what a fun time!

Brotherly love and THE BEST SOCCER CLINIC

All I can say is "Aww..." what a cute pic right?  I love it!  Austin is such an adorable brother to Logan.  He has loved him from day 1 and has treated him so kindly since then.  I did a book party for a dear friend and got some amazing books and this one was Logan's so Austin decided to read it to him.
So sweet!
Okay, onto the next group of pics.
Our adorable neighbor Dallin Ballard (with the help of his amazing mom, Kelly) did a soccer clinic for kids in our neighborhood for a summertime job and my kids couldn't have been more excited to participate!
Here they are taking a mini-snack break
How cute right?  Everything was planned just perfectly
Rio was playing goalie and Austin was doing some "stops"
 Phoenix, Jax & Rio
Rio, Boston and Austin practicing kicking down the hill
 Rio, Boston and Jax
 Rio chasing her buddy down
They were all going to chase Dallin out on the grass for the next round - he is such a good boy!
Dallin was reviewing the clinic with the kids while they had their final snack.

Woo-hoo!  We did it!

Crazy sleepers then and now...

I took some really recent pics about 1 month ago of Rio and Austin because they were being crazy sleepers and I thought it was so cute and then as I downloaded them on my computer, I was reminded of how they haven't really changed so much in how they sleep....

Aren't those adorable?  She is so cute!  She has always loved to be totally covered and often buries herself completely... THEN...
And NOW... She still gets all covered and bundled and buries herself - it's so cute!

Austin has always slept with either one or both of his arms behind his head - when I say ALWAYS, I mean from day 1 - this pic is just a few hours after he was born and was in the NICU

Even when he was eating, he would get nice and cozy and put that arm behind his head - it was so cute THEN...
And it is adorable NOW!
I went to peak on him one night about a month ago and found him fast asleep.
It made me smile seeing him so cozy still

It's a Cowabunga Summer!!!

We got season passes this year to Cowabunga Bay and it has been more fun than we had expected.  This place is such a blast for little ones and they absolutely love it!
These pics are from a few different days but I thought I'd put them all together.
My little foursome warming up in their towels before we headed back into the water
Austin smiling from ear to ear enjoying this slide
Jax getting prepared for the big splash at the end of this slide

Love to watch their faces as they come out of the slide - pure joy!
You may not be able to tell but that is Rio and Austin getting super splashed!
They love it!
Playing in the kid zone with our pool toys
What a doll you are Logan!
He is a pure water baby - just like his siblings
We can't just have one of our pool toys, we have to have ALL of them!  So cute!
My sweet Rio - she is a little fish in the water
Here's the big kids :) playing in the cove
Every few weeks, they have early entry day for season pass holders and have games, prizes and Munchkin Radio comes too - it is just an added fun to the day
My little three were waiting for the prize balls to drop out of that giant bucket - can you find them??
Who is that under that towel?
Yep!  It's Rio getting warm - she curls into a ball and puts her towel over the top of her on the warm concrete
We get quite a few looks as we're leaving since the stroller is completely packed with floaties, towels, a huge bag full of wet swimsuits, pool toys and water bottles.
We make it work though :)
PS - it may look like they're crying but really they are just super tired and rubbing their sun beat eyes
Another day we came and were able to visit with my dear friend Chandy and her adorable family including her newest little miss Ivory.  She is so sweet and Logan had a good time trying to share his toys with her.
Doesn't he look giant compared to her?  He's only about 5 or 6 weeks older
My chillin little cool dude!  He does this all the time - puts his legs up on his stroller and just relaxes.  What a cutie he is!
We have had a blast so far this summer at CB and it's not over yet....more to come...
