Winner, playdate, an "ouch!" and my softy heart

So this is honestly the least "fit" I've ever been in my entire life so in December I started going back to the gym and in January I did a 6 week boot camp which was a fun competition and well...I have to brag - I won!! Yah for me :)  Ha-ha
It was so fun that I actually joined there for a few more months and I absolutely love it! It's called Ozonefit and is amazing!
Here's my prizes!
We are so lucky to have such fun friends and we try to play as much as possible around here.
My friend Angie has triplets too that are 3 months older than mine and she's also got a little boy that was born 7 days after Logan - we're so lucky!
*Karson, Kaden, Austin, Lia, Jax, Rio, Hunter and Logan*
We had so much fun playing over there making and decorating cupcakes with lots and lots of green frosting
*Jax, Rio and Hunter*
Had to document these moments although they are so sad...
Poor Rio was running around with the boys and jumped on the couch and came down on her head on the corner of the couch and split her little head :(  No stitches, thank goodness but it was a pretty big gash.  Luckily, kids are amazingly resilient and she was totally fine.
Now that the kiddies are getting a bit older, they are realizing, well...Rio is realizing that sometimes she needs a little "girl time."  She was invited to go play a her friend Eliza's house one day with their little friend Paisley and so Rio left and the boys stayed home.  It is so great that they are individuals but it is going to break my heart every time they separate whether by choice or invitation.  When Rio was leaving, she said, "bye boys, it's just for the girls."  And Jax came running to the door with shoes in hand saying, "hurry mommy, put my shoes on."  So sad to watch his sister leave him behind so my soft heart felt bad and said, "let's go make brownies boys!"
Needless to say, they quickly forgot and we had fun making brownies together.
Love you boys!

A few "firsts" for Logan

Logan started getting really frustrated with laying down all the time so I thought, "let's give it a try sitting up" and well...
not shockingly, he did awesome!
Leaning over...
 Almost got it!
 Did it sweetheart!  You're sitting!
3/2/13 (6 mo)
 Sitting down!
Now, let's try food...
Logan has been eating cereals for a few months but now - he started his fruits and veggies and loves them all
Well...maybe not his first bite :)
 "Not so bad"

I had to add these last pics in of him sitting because he is so dang cute!  He is such a big boy already and as much as I love it, it is hard to see time fly so quickly but we love watching you grow sweetie pie!

Valentines Day Extravaganza 2013

Okay so it might look a little gross but the kids loved it!
*Pink pancakes, sausage and applesauce with pink sprinkles*
Happy Valentines Day!
Bright pink batter -delicious!
Rio loving her yummy pancakes - she's so cute, she was trying to say "cheese"
and couldn't quite chew at the same time
Here's all the Valentines we made for our sweet cousins and grandparents - what a fun craft for the kids - they had a blast decorating specifically for each person
YUMMY!
These are the Valentines the kiddos got from mom and dad
*yummy chocolates, cool heart glasses and jump ropes*
Another enthusiastic picture - ha-ha.  They really did love it though
The best Valentines gifts I could ask for!
(Don't you love how Logan is looking at Austin?  He loves his brothers and sister and loves when they play with him)
Lunch time!
*Bugels, apples and heart shaped Nutella sandwiches*
Our sweet Fougler friends joined us for lunch and cookies

As much as they loved breakfast, nothing could beat a Nutella sandwich!
Well...maybe cookies could!
The kiddos were finishing up their Valentines waiting for the cookies to cool down
Roxy helped Logan eat some food while I got the frosting ready and Logan loved it!  He is such a friendly little guy :)
The other 3 kiddos finishing up
Decorating time...
My Rio on the other hand just goes fro the frosting and skips the cookie all together
Austin is such a methodical decorator! He takes a long time figuring out just how he wants the frosting to look and where to put the sprinkles - it is so fun to watch him
These two (Avery and Jax) are similar in the fact that they put TONS of frosting and sprinkles on their cookie and then usually eat the frosting off the cookie - silly kids!
What a sweet boy Logan is!  He is such a cutie and has the sweetest smile and presence - what a little light he is in our day
"Heartbreaker 14!"  Sounds about right?  Look out ladies...

A Gift and a First

I feel like all of a sudden I'm playing catch up again - I'm so behind so here we go with lots of posts in a row :)
For Christmas this year, we got some of our cousins a trip to the Dino Museum and an I-MAX movie day - we had a blast!
Rio, Brinlee and Jax with Austin up front hangin' out in the "noise" room trying to be super quiet on the rocks. Let's just say four 3 year olds aren't the best at being quiet
Hello?
Jax was wondering why no one was talking back as he was listening
Let's see just how loud we can bang these mallets?
Brinlee, Austin and Hayden
The oldest of the Morris cousins Tyler being so fun and silly with Austin
What a happy face he has!  He loved hangin out with Ty
Rio - isn't she a cutie?
Rio and Brinlee on their "airplane" they said
My kids favorite part of the museum - the tunnel with stars!
It is pitch black in the tunnel except for the little, tiny stars and my kids LOVE it!  They sing, "Twinkle, Twinkle" the whole time
It isn't Brinlee's favorite part but Rio made sure she loved it by taking her hand in hand through the tunnel about 10 times in a row :)
Can you tell they were shocked to see the photo light?
Austin making a sand trap for the dinos
Brothers working together - I love seeing that!
Kristin, Ty & Hayden
Jax, Rio and Hayden asked me to take a pic of them - this is their favorite "photo op" spot
Pretty girls
Jax, Rio, Austin, Brinlee, Hayden and Ty out front!  We finally got all of them in one shot but of course not everyone is looking - ha-ha
I asked the kids if they wanted to take a picture with Logan and Austin of course said, "YES!" so he and Rio decided they both wanted Logan on both of their laps
What a big boy he is getting to be right?
I love Jax's energy - never, ever a quiet or dull moment with him around
"Watch out!!"
Making the last stop in the museum at the sand pits digging up some fossils
My kids hadn't been to a movie at the theatre before so I knew this would be an interesting quest.
However... they did so awesome!
We had the theatre to ourselves so Kristin and I "talked" them through the movie and they were amazing!
We saw a great "pterosaurs" movie with no scariness or anything and they loved it.
Hayden, Austin and Rio and even Logan (he slept through the whole movie, bless him)
Jax, Brinlee, Kristin and Ty rocking their 3D glasses
We had such a great time!  Love you Gilbert cousins!!
