Week 15 Already!

Holy Cow! I cannot believe that it has already been 15 weeks! It really has flown by so fast. I am trying to journal as much as I remember but I feel like I need to do that more too. This counts right?
This week has been pretty good - no migraines! Can you believe it? I felt okay with nausea too for the most part - not horrible. My doctor told me that it will probably continue until about the 20th week or so with triplets. That I can manage though - I'm so thankful that I'm working to keep me distracted from it too. Only once have I had to leave the room to go throw up. Not bad hu?
Spence has started football again both fantasy and real :) - so that is so fun too and distracting! I love that he is able to coach- he loves it and the boys love him. They won their first game - Go Hawks! My cute nephews are playing for Alta too and they are so excited! Zak is playing quarterback and Gabe is on defense playing safety. I can't wait to see them play! They are so cute and so excited!

I did have one funny moment last Thursday. I was leaving work around 7:30pm and had a meeting at 8pm so I stopped to get a drink and snack at the gas station (I know - not the best choice) but as I was getting my drink, I felt so nauseous and had to run into the Flying J bathroom to throw up. Awesome hu? I vote that for the lowest point so far. Ha-ha!
Work is going good so far - I sit mostly so it's going okay. Emotionally, I think I'm doing okay too and physically, well, you be the judge :) See you next week!
WEEK 15:

Coming on strong now! Thanks for all your support everyone! Love you all!

Paranoia Relief - another usound!

Okay, so on Monday, the 17th, we were able to do another ultrasound and it couldn 't have been soon enough. I seriously am so paranoid and am driving Spence crazy probably. I just really worry about if all of them are okay and are growing enough.
So needless to say, this usound was such a relief for me. We also got to meet with our perinatologist that day too; although it wasn't Dr. Porter who I was supposed to see but that's okay. It was a partner of his named Dr. Holmgren. Anyway, I talked with her about my many migranes and just as I thought, there isn't much I can do. That's okay - they go away :)

Then we were able to do our usound. Spence was there of course and his mom, Bonnie, who works at IMC was able to come down too. I was glad she was able to be there since she was so close. Anyway, here they all are; all safe and healthy so far. They all had strong heartbeats again and measured great too! The usound tech tried to look for genders and she thinks that the bigger middle one is a boy and that there is one other boy and a girl. We'll see though... that may change in the next few weeks. Hopefully, we'll find out on our next visit with our peri.

BABY A: facing down with it's little legs tucked up on the left: so cute:)
14 weeks 5 days and heartbeat was 157

BABY B: (the possible boy) He's facing down but you can kind of see his spine:
15 weeks 1 day and heartbeat was 155

BABY C: facing up- cutest little face outline with little arms and leg (floating) My doctor said this one is behind the other two so it will always be a little harder to see and maybe a little smaller.
14 weeks 3 days and heartbeat 153

"So far so good" is my new phrase! Relief filled me when I saw them. Fortunatley, I go back often for usounds and monitoring. My doctor reminded me of the possibility of bed-rest around the mid to late 20 week time and I am refusing that answer so pray along with us that I won't need to do that. I would litterally go insane I think!

Bring on the Belly - Weeks 13 & 14

Okay, so I promise to do weekly entries from now on. I just totally get too busy during the week and don't make the time. I will really work on being better. So, these last few weeks have been some of the best and worst days so far with the pregnancy.

Spence, my parents and I took a quick trip to Cedar City a week ago Saturday to go see some plays at the Shakespeare Festival which I was so glad to do. We used to go every 24th of July with my entire family and then families grew and grew and jobs changed so it got too difficult to go all together. So, I was so glad to go again. I love being in southern Utah and the plays were awesome. I felt really good for the most part and we had a great time. On the way home, we stopped in Springville and picked up a crib-set and dressers. Yes, I know it is totally early but it was such a great deal for 2 that I couldn't pass it up! They were from the nicest woman who had had twins a few years ago and was ready to get them big beds now - and yes, I did look on Craig's List first, thanks to my cousin Stephanie's advice. I can't believe how much stuff is on there! I'll be checking that more than once.

So 2 down and one to go. However, a friend with multiples has told me that they will sleep together for a good few months anyway so no rush on the third crib just yet. No other purchases yet- we'll take our time as best we can.

I have had some of the yuckiest migraines however, about every two weeks or so it seems. Not sure what that is about. I have gotten them for years now but I thought that would change- no luck! I got another one this last Sunday, Monday and Saturday. The good thing is they usually only last about 24 hours so it's okay.

So basic pregnancy summary of 13 & 14 - nausea continues, 1 migraine, 2 cribs and a bigger belly! We go on the 17th for our first appointment with the perinatologist and I can't wait - some of the paranoia will hopefully go away after that appointment. Wish us luck and health!
PS: These are going to be the last of the "bare belly" pics. It's getting too embarrassing :)

Summary of Weeks 7-12

Well, since I am already at week 13, I thought that we should get the previous weeks up and going and then I start doing regular weekly entries. So, here are all the belly pics below: (yes, I'm feeling very humbled and totally mortified but o-well) So, the first pic is me pre-pregnancy and then it is weeks 7-12 following that.

I started having morning sickness about week 8 and it has continued until this point. I really shouldn't say morning sickness though since it kind of lasts all day if at all. Either I'm sick or I'm not so 50/50 - it's not horrible. I still have occasional migranes which are also a fun treat since I can't take much for them. I stock up on coke on those days when I can.

Around week 8, I had horrible sciatic nerve pain and I was so worried since it was all happening so early but then I asked Spence for a blessing and have been fine ever since. The power that we get to take part in is a miracle to me!

All in all, the first 12 weeks have gone by really quickly. I've had a few parnoid, crazy moments which Spence could comment on better but not too bad. I'm having to slowly move into maternity shirts now and some pants. Crazy that it is already though but a good sign nonetheless so I'm happy about that.

Well, don't laugh please or comment on my "chubby" belly. Thanks again for your support!

Ultrasound #3

This one was on July 14th - they've got their little arm and leg buds now and you can see the middle baby's eye slits. Totally gummy bears :)
I think if you click on the images, they'll get bigger for you. Then you can maybe see the little eye holes of Baby B.

Ultrasound #2

They're a little bigger now but still a little "blobby looking"

Ultrasound #1

Here are the little grains of rice.... They did have incredibly strong heartbeats though even then...
