Spence turns "40"

Oh man, how did we get here?
How are we turning 40?  It is just crazy to me!
Oh how we love you!
I've known you since you were 13 Spence and every day, I love you more and more and more.
You have always been someone I honestly admire, look up to and try to emulate in many ways.
You are a better husband and father than we could all ask for.
Thank you for being who you are, loving us to your fullest and we were so happy to celebrate you!
Birthday hugs all around!
Tickets to Jim Gaffigan!
We both love him - hilarious all the time and a family man himself so it's even funnier to listen to.
New clothes and shoes...
Rio and her daddy - she sure loves him!
She is always making cards and sharing her love for others.
Happy birthday to you!
Instead of cake, he got his favorite! Eclairs - YUM!
Jax made a card too!  Such a sweetie for his dad.  You can tell on Spence's face, it meant a lot to him.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SPENCER!
We love you and love to celebrate you whenever we can.
HAD to capture this little dude.  He sure loves ice cream.

40 is looking good on you sweetie!
Love you Spencer.

Fall soccer for Rio - another attempt...(and some garden harvest pics)

Well, I had sworn off soccer for Rio a few years ago after she complained every game about going, wearing shin guards and having to run...you know just he basis of soccer :)
However, her little bestie, Drew, is a little athlete and wanted to play so Rio wanted to give it a try!
It has actually gone really well.  We haven't shuffled out onto the field, she runs...fast!
She smiles while playing.  Going pretty good.
I sure hope she loves it.
Drew's dad is the coach too so I know that helps a ton.
These two...such cute friend
Go Team Golden Eagles!
They didn't have the best season but I'm so glad Rio tried again.
Look!  She's going after the ball.  Go Ri!
Love this picture.  I'm sure Andrew was asking her to do something she was nervous about...
Way to go #7!
*Drew, Rio &  McKenna*
Plus, look how cute she is!
I hope she loves it.

It's harvest time!
Oh these two.  Love Drew and Rio - they are such great friends!
They helped me pick a bunch of veggies today to get ready to make some salsa!

After that, they made a bakery for all to enjoy :)
Austin, Jax and Logan and Nick came to partake of their amazing creations!
These were the tomatillos from our garden this year.  It was so fun to pick them and make some yummy green salsa!

GO UTES!

We had family over for the "U" game.  The kids were all decked out in their "U" red!
Love these kiddos!
This little cutie is getting so big!
Bridger, they love you!

My Happy Logan

When this kid is happy, he is HAPPY!
I had to capture his happy moments so I can prove to him that he loves his mommy!  HAHA!
We know he does and he is full of love, energy, kindness, thoughtfulness, sensitivity and joy.
Did I mention how funny he can be?
I was folding laundry and he was cracking me up putting every article of clothing on his head to make me laugh.
I sure do love this boy!
Such a sweetheart Logan!
Mommy absolutely adores you!
Love making funny faces with you and playing with you Logan.

Last horray by the fire pit

Oh these two..
Not always the best of friends but when they are, they are so fun and love to play with each other!
I took them to the park to play for a little bit and they had so much fun.
You can tell it was a hot September day by their red faces.

Later that night, our family had a quick gathering out by the fire to enjoy it before it starts getting cold.
Rio had tumbling earlier so she was still in her tumbling attire while we all enjoyed being outside together with our yummy s'mores and marshmallows.
Jax sure is a cute older brother to these two.  I appreciate him so much.
Austin is a careful pro at the pit!
Cutie Rio LOVES marshmallows.
D-lish!
Love these s'mores but mostly love the kids and husband I get to be with!
Love my family - couldn't be luckier if I tried!

Labor Day fun with the Morris'

Fun Labor Day with the Morris gang.
We had a yummy picnic together and then were able to walk around this beautiful reservoir and the kids had a blast together.
Rio was the statue of liberty and Blake clearly needed a nap :)
Grandma, Grandpa, Andrew, Kisty and Jon with the littles.
We were able to share our awesome Bear Lake story with them and it was so great to tell it again.  Such a gift and we were so blessed and watched over.
After the fun with the Morris', we were able to spend time with our friends and neighbors too, the Hawkins.  Love those girls.
Fort Building time after the outside play.
Not my favorite past time because I usually have to put it up and then take it down after  about 10 minutes of play...but, the kids love it and the Hawkins' girls loved it too so Fort City here we came!
They even did Rio's room!  Fun times with friends.
It was a really nice relaxing day with our family and friends.
