Memorial Day fun @ the splash pad

Oh these pictures are getting me very excited for warm weather as I'm typing this up in the middle of winter :(
On Memorial Day, we decided to go to a splash pad after visiting the cemetery for Spence's grandparents.
This cemetery is really beautiful with gorgeous rivers and huge trees.
Grandma Bonnie with Blake and Preston
Putting flowers on Bonnie's parents graves and looking at family pictures as well.
We had a fun time talking with the kids about their ancestors.

 Cutie kids
*Austin, Preston, Blake, Ethan, Rio, (love her pose by the way) Logan and Jax*
First we started with a yummy picnic at the splash pad and then cooled off in the water.
It was a beautiful afternoon!
"Brrr...that's cold mama!"
This kid loves the water but does not like being cold!
Such a cute boy!

Watch these boys try to get water in their cups.  Love it!
Good work Logan!
Rio on the other hand just loves to play and get wet.
Love my Jax.  He is such a fun kid and loves playing!
He and Blake are my kiddos that get cold pretty fast so we spent some time snuggling too!
Papa Ranger and Grandma joined us as well.
Logan decided to take a  break and warm up on the metal bench - cozy!
Little Stud
We love this park because they can play in the water and then at the park too.
It's such a fun place.

I had to join in the water fun too - the kids love it when I can play and run through the water with them.  I couldn't pass it up!
Jax and Logan totally getting water blasted and loving it.

Later that afternoon, we decided to grab a slushee/snow cone at our favorite place.
Yum, Yum and lots of juice mouth stains too.
Couldn't have been more fun.
Love my family so much and I'm so grateful for Spence's job that allows him to take these days off to be with us.  It is the highlight of the kids day when  daddy gets to stay home and be with them.
I'm so grateful for our kids and for Spencer.

Rio's dance recital 5/16

Well, you know how you'd like to capture dances being done but well, it doesn't happen all too well with so much movement and not being front row...
But, here is my Rio right there in the middle.  This was her Jazz routine and she loved it!  Loved the costume the most though :)
Ready to do her trick!
This was her one day going to dance.  She is a unique creature for sure and will combine just about anything she has.  The top is for ballet, jazz and tumbling with tutu on and then off :)  The bottom is for her hip hop class she took for a little bit too.
Love her!

This was at Bingham High getting ready for her tumbling routine.
She is one flexible little critter and she LOVES tumbling!
Tumbling costume...
Jazz costume and...
Ballet costume.  She looked so pretty and loved all her dances.  This year in dance was hard because she came home from kindergarten at noon on Wednesdays and then had to eat lunch and head off to dance until 5!
She had ballet from 1-2pm, Jazz from 2-3pm and then a break from 3-4 so she and my dad and cousin Halle got to hang out every, single week for that hour together.  My dad was awesome and never complained to do it.  He would go and get Halle, Ella and Anna and then take Halle and Rio to get a treat somewhere.  EVERY WEEK!  He was awesome and I'm so grateful for his help.  It was so great to know she was happy for that time.  She then had tumbling from 4-445.  Long day for this little one but she did it and I'm so proud of her.
Eyes closed but still cute!
Love these grandparents of Rio's.  She is so lucky to have such supportive grandparents that endure these long recitals.  She was so grateful.
One too many pics of us but they were all so different, I had to put them all!
It was too late to get a pic with her brothers although they all came and were all there to watch her.  Spence ended up taking the little boys home after she preformed so he could get the littles in bed.  Jax and Austin stayed to watch Ella, Halle and Anna as well.
These two were so cute to stay and watch Rio and their cousins.  I think they really just wanted to stay up late but nonetheless, they did their best to support the girls.
Even though, this ended up being Jax's kind of support - hee-hee.  He was exhausted!

After recital pics!
Rio and Halle
Ella and Rio
Rio and Anna
These four little cuties!  They all love dance and are pretty awesome at it!
Rio isn't sure she wants to do company just yet but we'll see in the coming years what happens.
These 3 on the other hand, LOVE company and love being at dance as much as possible and it shows.  They are amazing!
