Hotel sleepin' & Hayden's Baptism

Well, it gets a little interesting when you have 5 kiddos and 2 adults in one little hotel room.
But...well, they love it and sleep great by each other.  Little cutie kids.
Love this little Blake.  He always thinks it is a little weird in the pack n play but he eventually figures out that this is his bed and he's okay.

And then...the next interesting thing is going out to eat with the crew...
Do our faces show you how much we're enjoying it?
HAHA!
Actually, it was okay.   They did really well and were well behaved for the most part but at Denny's, the older folks weren't really loving having all this noise so bright and early.
Mr. Orange Mouth  and his little counterpart behind him.

Well, on that Saturday, we had Hayden's baptism and it was just great!  They kids loved seeing her be baptized and all the cousins sang together which was awesome too.
Austin, Rio and Hayden
Grandpa & Grandma Morris and sweet Hayden.
Our little crew & Hayden.  Let's just say that Blake wasn't overly thrilled to have the baptism and pictures during his naptime.

Later that day, we celebrated her baptism with a super yummy cake that Mike's hotel made.
Love the line that kids were making for the cake - Hee-hee.

And then the wrestling and the shenanigans began!
Love these 3 together!
They have so much fun and I love seeing it.  Cute Rio needs to surround herself with more girls.
And then, there is the boys...
Love all these cuties!

We're so proud of you Hayden for your choice to follow the Savior and be baptized!
Love you!

Sparks, NV - here we come!

Our adorable niece Hayden was getting baptized in March and we didn't want to miss it so we all headed in the car and drove to the beautiful city of Sparks, NV :)  Actually, it was a nice area and Mike and Kristin's neighborhood was beautiful.
We miss them all so much and are so sad to not see them often but we couldn't wait to get to Sparks to see them.
So...we hopped in the car and headed out one night and drove to Winnemucca, NV to stay over and then drove the rest of the way to Sparks the next morning.
I had to document this picture because I love the crowded pillows, blankets and kids.  They were all so tired but crazily, only Logan fell asleep at first!  We were shocked!  Love how he put his blanket on his head and fell fast asleep.  Such a cutie boy.

We made it!
When we arrived, we went for a tour of their beautiful home and then let the kids play and play and of course, eat lunch together.
Next, we headed outside and my sweetest Rio wanted to draw the Temple and the words to "I Love to See the Temple."
Love her and her tender, little spirit.

Next, it was time to head outside and play with uncles and aunts.
*Hayden, Rio, Austin, Uncle Marc and Logan*
We did so many fun things.  One of the things we got to do was go to Uncle Mike's casino and play in their play area/arcade and bounce house.  It was so much fun and the kids loved it!
*Rio, Logan, Hayden, Preston, Ethan, Brinlee, Jax, Blake, Tyler and Austin*

Before we had left, we had shown the kids these silly videos of kids eating super sour "war head" candy and they couldn't believe that they would be so sour.
So...at the casino, they had WarHeads and well, we couldn't pass up the chance to show them just how sour they are.  Jax and Austin were up for the challenge :)
*Austin*
*Jax*
They are so funny and totally agreed that they are super sour!

Later that night, we played "Down by the Banks"
And the boys all took turns wrestling with grandpa as well.
So fun!
Love making fun memories with our family.

Provo City Center Temple Dedication

Spence and I really wanted our kids to be able to go to a temple open house and fortunately, we have so many opportunities here in Utah but not so many SO close so we had to take advantage this day and go.  We went on March 1st at 7am!  Yes, we got up and got all kids ready and fed and down to Provo by 650am.
It was definitely worth it and we had a great time that morning together admiring this new temple.
There is our little world right there!
 Families Can Be Together Forever!
Love you cuties!
How grateful I am for having this beautiful place to show our children!  How grateful I am to know that being sealed in these temples allows us to be together forever and with our Heavenly Father and Mother again one day.
"I love to see the temple"

Love seeing our kids play & love one another

One beautiful early spring day, we headed over to Riverton Park (one of my all time favorites) and played and played with some good buddies.
I was able to capture this picture and it melted my heart!
Austin tries to pretend that he isn't a "touchy/feeley" kid but when it comes down to it, he really is a sweet and thoughtful boy.  Blake said, "scary" so Austin grabbed his hand and said, "it's okay, I'll help you."
Little close up - love those little hands.
Blake, Austin, Jax, Logan and Case
Little Rio making beds out of boxes.  She is such a creative little girl.  I admire her for that!
She even made one for Blake - he was thrilled!
And well, when one is made, four more are close at hand!

This little one is loving dance and tumbling so much!
She is getting more and more flexible and much better at everything she tries.
Oh how I adore her.  She really is such an important piece of our family and I'm grateful for her every day!
