Freezing at Cowabunga Bay

Oh my goodness!  I see these pics now and think, how on earth did that day feel so cold but man, did it!
Granted, it was early entry day for members that day at 9am so the full sun wasn't out and burning yet but BRRRR....
On early entry day, they play tons of games and the kids have so much fun.  We weren't able to make very many of those days this season so I was glad to go today to let them play.
Austin won an ice cream cone which he gladly gave away because it was too cold to eat it :) But, he was very proud and happy that he won when 100's of balls dropped out of that drum.
My little skinny Blake was absolutely freezing!!!
He was turning blue and purple so it was time to go.
I think I added these already somewhere but I wanted to make sure since they were so cute and I love his cute tan skin too.  He was so tired when we were getting ready to eat lunch that he just zonked out!
My cute friend Roxy does this.  Aren't they cute?  Love getting them done by her - she is so creative and fun!

Swim Day, BBQ and more fireworks to send off our family

Oh man, I've to get caught up!
These sunny, summer day pics are making me feel very envious.  I cannot wait for beautiful, warm weather again!
We were able to hang out with the Morris crew again and go swimming at Marc and Kari's apartment and we had so, so much fun!
There is nothing better than uncles and daddy's in the pool - no one can match the fun they bring.
Rio, my little fish.  Love her!
Andrew...c'mon.  It's not cold!  Actually he is just very protective of his skin so he's hiding from the sun.
 Little Blake having a blast.
 Marc & Rio
Uncle Mike surrounded by all these cuties.

Posey fam
Such a cute pic of Bonnie and 4 of her kids.

Later that day we had a little BBQ with everyone and did the rest of the fireworks we had.  The Gilbert and Posey fams were leaving the next day and we were so glad to send them off with a bang - haha
Blake
We even got to play before it got dark.
Uncle Mike is often the "fire starter" and do you think the kids were excited?
Love this group!
Oh no...the dog pooped!  Isn't that hilarious?  Who comes up with these things?
After the show, we put the kids to work and had them sweeping up all the garbage.
They were more than happy to help.

Then...sadly, it was time to say goodbye and my sweet, little Rio hates this part.  She loves, loves her cousins and is always so sad to see them go.
Yet, she still is able to manage a smile for the picture.  I just love how sentimental she is.  What a sweet girl she is.  She loves seeing Hayden and Brinlee so much.
And here is the boys (minus the 3 littles)
They have a blast together too and really play well together considering all their many personalities.
Love this handsome group of boys!

Wow!  What a fun group!
I'm so grateful for this Morris family.

24th of July evening events with the Morris'

Oh these kids...they have so much fun together so I absolutely love when the Gilberts and Poseys are in town.
The festivities started off with bubbles for all!
And then...quickly moved on to a pirate play by all the kids.
They are all so cute! Love these little ones so much!
*Austin, Logan, Ty, Ethan, Jax, Brinlee, Hayden and Rio*

Now, time for the firework show!
These two little posers - they are so funny and love to perform!
A blow torch...really guys?
Well, it did get the job done!
Logan was so thrilled to just have pops - he's so cute!
Some blurry pics but too cute to not add.  We all had so much fun watching the "men" put on the show for us.

SPARKLERS!
Happy Pioneer Day.  I love the 24th of July and the fun family traditions we have but I also love to think about and admire the Saints as they came to Utah to find a better place to live where they could worship the way they wanted to and live the way they should.
Amazing men, women and children are those that we have to thank for such a wonderful state to live in.  I truly feel very blessed to live here in Utah and to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  We are very lucky to have all these wonderful blessings.
