Christmas Day '14

I'm making an official Christmas picture book because of course there are WAY TOO MANY pics to put on this blog so this is just a little taste.
We had a great day together and with our extended families too!
So fun!
WIGGLE CARS for all the kids from Santa - they were thrilled!
Rio got a beautiful, singing Elsa doll and she loved it right away.
Jax asked Santa for an Alligator...so cute - they even came with named Bandanas
Austin had a little trickier request for Santa...he specifically wanted a hippo with his mouth open and well, Santa delivered!
Rio with her little makeup and nail polish Caboodle.
Logan finally got his own car/train to drive on our Geotrax train set.  Now, he doesn't have to steal the boys - way to go Santa!
Some other cute pics of the kids and their toys - I love this one of Austin.  He is ready for a Ninja Turtle Battle!
Blake was thrilled to have a new Dream Lite and some yummy puffs to munch on.
Merry Christmas everyone!
We love you and are so grateful for our amazing families who we got to enjoy time with all day long and into the evening.
What a wonderful day!
I am so grateful this time of year to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ as well as his life and his teachings.  How grateful I feel to know of his life and sacrifice for us and that we can all be together with our families forever!
*We never take the best pics, but I don't know what I'd do without these adorable 5 kids!*

Christmas Eve Festivities!

Our little elf, Charlie has been quite fun for the kids this year and has been a good helper of "good" behavior; mostly reporting bad behavior :)  The kids would go tell Charlie rather than Spence and I if another kid was being naughty - silly kids!
Christmas Eve was his last night visiting us and we will miss you!  See you next year Charlie!
Cookie making time and we also got around to decorating Austin's prize from Costco; his gingerbread house.
They had a blast decorating the little house and it was our first one we've ever done so they were super excited.
Jax, Rio and Logan showing off their work.
Trying to help with icicles was a little trickier than I had thought...but we got better at it.
Ta-da!
All done - looks pretty cute for a bunch of 4 year olds and an excited 2 year old right?  Yes, Spence and I helped a little too.
This happy boy was just excited to share in the fun and be a part of everything - such a sweet, happy boy!
YUMMY!
I'm sure Santa is super excited to eat these beauties; especially the half eaten, smeared snowman at the bottom.  Ha-ha - one guess whose that was :)
Ready for Santa to come!
Cookies, milk and veggies for the reindeer were out and ready for arrival.
Their little "Monstaz" friends joined in too - Delilah, Benny, Murphy and Frankie.
Merry Christmas Eve - can't wait for tomorrow!!!

Temple Square with the Morris fam '14

Oh yah, it's that beautiful time of year again to enjoy these gorgeous lights at Temple Square.
What a fun tradition.  I just love it so much because it brings in the best part about Christmas, our Savior Jesus Christ.
We headed downtown with Spence's parents and sibs and kids (those that were here and could go) and enjoyed a great night!
It was chilly but not cold but we still had all the kiddies bundled up!
Spence holding Logan, Andrew and Kisty and a few random heads :)
Jax said he was "too tired" to keep walking so he hoped in the stroller because of course, that is not Logan's thing right?  He's too big for that.
Cute Rio with him just keeping warm.
My adorable Blake.
Love his beautiful blue eyes!
Gorgeous right?
Andrew of course making silly faces with Preston.
Never a great shot but still cute nonetheless :)

It was a bit heavy after awhile but I was more than happy to have Logan let me hold him.

(we never could capture Rio)
Spence and I at the spot we got engaged about 13 years ago.
We had to take a bunch of shots of this kid - he was so funny trying to find anywhere to stick his legs out - he kept poking it out of the stroller and we thought it was so cute!
"Yep, that's my leg"
Cute kid!
Daddy with Blake - Spence thought he looked so cute in his little hat so he had to take a few pics.
The next part of the tradition was going back to grandma's to enjoy yummy hot cocoa with the family.
Thanks everyone!

We love to see you all and enjoy this fun time together.

Decorating cookies with our buddies

Love holidays because it's a great excuse to see friends and do crafts and treats :)
We headed over to Roxy's house and decorated cookies with the kids and they all had so much fun!
Even my little Blake had a blast playing with toys and watching the kids.
*Hunter, Lucas, Logan, Karson and Lia*
*Rio and Austin*
*Jax*
I think he had more frosting than cookie :)
*Kaden, Reese and Avery*
Love this cutie so much - he loves his treats...
and mostly, I love that he is just "one of the big kids" - he just follows along and has a blast with all of them.

Waiting in line...Visiting reindeer & letters from Santa

Oh yes, the joys of waiting in line at the post office.  No...we didn't need to mail anything either.  Since we moved, we had a few issues with our delivery so I had to go and check into it and so of course...we all went and it was quite fun as you can see below :)
I love these cuties though - they were good sports.  Love them and their fun personalities.
I did make it up to them however.  Later that day, we went to Thanksgiving Point to see the reindeer and eat a treat.
Aren't they cute?  I love seeing "real" ones and showing the kids - it made them so excited for Santa to come with all 9 of his reindeer.
Jaxon kills me in these pics - he is honestly such an expressive little guy.  Love it!
It was a pretty nice weather day too - not too cold for us to hang outside for awhile.
But, we quickly went inside to enjoy a delicious cookie.  Yum, yum!
Love being with you kids on fun days like this!
And to top off the fun day, we got home and had received letters from Santa in the mail.  SO COOL!
Each of them had an official letter from Santa to read.  Getting so excited for our visit....
