Easter craft w/ friends & the SoJo Hunt

I always love to try and make holidays fun for the kids and do something fun and crafty with them so for Easter, we decided to make bunny cookies and do a bunny craft too with our amazing Foulger friends
Austin is honestly always the best kind of helper and he was so great with this too.  He was so eager to cut out the sugar cookie bunnies and he did great!
 Don't they look so cute?
Making our cute bunnies holding their baskets full of eggs!  So fun!
*Jax with his little bunny*
*Lucas, Avery, Austin, Roxy, Reese, Jax and Rio*
Rio - she loves doing craft stuff too!
Austin's bunny with a carrot tie :) he said
 Say, "BUNNY!"
 Yum!  Onto the cookies...Logan's favorite!
Delish!  Love this group of kids so much!
This was Rio's plate....would you like a cookie with all that frosting sweetie?
Avery and Rio and two peas in a pod - both absolutely LOVE frosting and they put up with the cookies
Austin always cracks me up with his decorating - he is so precise with all he does - always looks cute!

We had a wonderful day the Saturday before Easter with our family.
First, (the rest of the day will be in the next post) we started out at the SoJo Easter Hunt - the kids were so excited and had so much fun!  The weather actually cooperated too - we got really lucky because it had been stacked between rainy and cold days.
 Get Ready, Get Set...
I got to be with these 3 cuties and Spence took Logan to his age
group area
 Score!
Of course, these city hunts are over in about 30 seconds.  I always feel so bad for those that put it together because it has got to be SO much work getting all those eggs filled and then laying them all out in each age group area so thank you SoJo!
PS - of course my Jax took the cake with the most candy out of the 3 but they all were great and had a blast!
Spence said Logan did so good all by himself!  He said he just told him to pick up the eggs and put them in his basket and that's exactly what he did!  What a good boy!  Well..I think he knew there was candy and this kid is a magnet for candy :)
 Good job sweetie pie!
Say, "EGG!"
Love these 4 cuties!  Can't believe next year, we'll have another little one maybe walking around gathering eggs
 Daddy and the kids
Me and my adorable kids :)  We had so much fun enjoying this fun moment with them!  I adore kids enthusiasm for things - they are so fun and find joy in the simplest of things.

Lamb & Wool Festival

Before I get to the pics about this super fun event we went to, I had to post a few random pics of my cuties
*Rio & Logan*
This little boy LOVES his sister so much - she takes really good care of him and always tries to help him out - it's really cute to watch.  So this night, we were having "movie night" and Logan snuggled up to Rio.  And yes, that is his blanket in his mouth :)  We have a blanket sucker!  And yes, we know it's gross but we can't stop it.  He is so funny because he isn't really attached to his blanket and doesn't want it other than at nighttime usually (this type of thing is actually quite a fluke) but he does suck on it!  EW!  Let's hope it's a phase
These three have so much fun together and I had to take this pic because this is how I found them one day just hanging out together talking.  Love their bond
There is nothing like this cuties smile!  Nothing makes my day more - love you cute Logan
He is constantly in this bathroom trying to reach the soap or play in the water - yes, he's exhausting but he melts my heart
And I just had to take this pic because I had a Deja vu moment while feeding Blake one day...
...can you see why?  This is Logan!  and the one above is our Blake!  CRAZY!  I don't think they will look alike because Blake is already changing so much but man...the little hands up to their face and their little dark eyes...it took me back to my little Logan
I can't help but capture these sweet pics of Blake as he is sleeping - he is just too cute!
And last but not least... Austin and Logan.  They are good little buddies too - Logan loves to tackle his brothers and they think it is super funny that he does it.  Love their love for each other - it's the best feeling there is!

Okay...on to the Festival!
This was such a fun thing to do this year at Thanksgiving Point.  It wasn't anything super amazing but it was really fun to let the kids enjoy learning something new
Logan with his little goat friend
The kids and Spence learning about shearing the sheep (on the left).  This sheep was so calm and sweet the whole time
Logan and Daddy petting the sheep together.  Who else didn't know that is where Lanolin came from?
Next, we were on to make some wool bracelets.  They thought it was pretty cool to help make their own bracelets by twisting the wool themselves
 Pretty cute!
 CHEESE!
We love Sheep!
We'll be back next year - that was really fun with this group of cuties

My bday 2014

Birthdays are quite interesting days these days but as a mom, they are some of the sweetest!
My birthday was on a Saturday this year and over General Conference weekend so during the break, Spence took the kids to get my cake and they had a great time making me feel special.
They got this cute card and all signed it by themselves
Such sweet kids
Isn't that such a cute card?  Love it!
Love this picture so much!
Rio was so mad that she couldn't hold my card and give it to me so she was pouting.  Love her!
Me and my cute triplets...
And my adorable, busy and sweet Logan...
and my sweet, miraculous, new little Blake
Man, I'm getting old!  37 years - whew!
Love you so much Spence!  Thanks for making my bday so special with our little family
Believe it or not, these two are my messy eaters but so so cute
The next day we went and celebrated with my in-laws
These pics are of Logan and his one week younger cousin Cooper.  So grateful that he will always have this little buddy as his cousin and friend!

Thanks for all the birthday fun!  Although I'm getting older and older, I'm feeling more and more blessed and more and more grateful for my husband and kids.  I also have the greatest sister and parents I could hope for.  My in-laws and SIL's and BIL's are the absolute best and I pray that I can always stay close with them and show them how much I love them.  They are all truly the best support for us and raising our kids.
