First TRAX ride & fun @ a splash pad

Momentous day for the kids!  They took their first ride on TRAX and were so super happy and excited!  We went with some of our besties, the Foulger trips and my friend Roxy.
Go ahead and go on in...
 YAH!  We made it!
Lucas, Austin, Avery, Rio, Jax and Reese
 What a fun time!
Roxy and her girls and my Logan
"CHEESE" says Jax - he really wasn't screaming :)
So fun heading down to Gardner Village
We made it to GV and went and got a little treat at the Sweet Shoppe and played around until it was time to head on back to TRAX for our ride home.
It was so fun to watch these little ones be so excited to "ride a train" and feel so big without car seats and seat belts.  Made me wonder why there weren't seat belts on trains...
Anyway, thanks for the fun memories Foulger fam!
The next day we headed to a splash pad for some water fun.  I really tried hard to make sure we got in as many water days as possible this summer and we frequented the splash pads quite often.
This day, we went with Melissa and her kiddos and Jenny and her little guy Jamison
Jett and Logan working their crawling magic around the tractor
Rio is so fun to watch at splash pads - she will let her hair fall all around her face and not even care to push it out of the way.  Love it!  She just enjoys every, single moment of her time in the water
 Jett trying to catch water
Jamison playing in the water - he had a blast!
 Austin, Jett and Logan
 Jamison, Jett and Logan
Love, love, love the stink bug crawl - none of the triplets did that so I have loved watching him crawl this way when he doesn't want to put his knees down
 Jenny and Jamison
Melissa and her Jett
*I'm so grateful for such amazing friends who are great examples to me in so many ways - I have loved being able to be out in the water and sun with my kids and having friends there is a fabulous added bonus :)

Dino Museum w/ Morris cousins and Grandma

Right now (and for awhile now) they have a "Tinkering" section at the Dino Museum for ids to play in.  It is really cute and the kids have a great time - there are so many hands on stuff that is just their size.  Also, this particular day it was Harry Potter Day so there was extra fun things to do :)
Austin and Rio making a song using motion and bells
Grandma, Ethan, Jax and Rio trying to find things to send up the air shoot
Aunt Erin and Cole catching their feather
Austin absolutely loved this!  You could place sticks into hole and then put a tube through for a little ball to travel through - so fun!  He could have stayed there all day
Showing off their Potter wands made with ribbon, a stick and pipe cleaners
Then it was onto the sand and water and Rio loved being able to play with cousin Ethan
Jax and Austin building their sand fortress for their dinosaurs
 Austin, Cole and Ethan
Ethan, Cole, Austin, Rio, Jax and Logan - we captured them all but it is a bit blurry :)
Logan started being able to pull himself onto things in mid-July.  He was so excited to be able to be "so big" and enjoy the stand up world
Love Rio's look - she is a little weary of the shark coming up behind her...
Rio, Austin and Jax enjoying their sand and fossil dig
Cole using his rake to find a bone
Love this pic - classic pic of Jax being Jax.  His hands filled with sand and screaming with joy and being all sandy.

MS Party @ Boondocks!

This year, Spence's work party at Boondocks was interesting because Spencer wasn't actually there - he was out of town and so we weren't really going to go but Uncle Marc called and said that he'd be our helper and fill-in for us to be able to go.  So thank Uncle Marc for all your help - it was so fun!
Jax was excited to play Wac-A-Mole
Same with Austin but he took the hand approach rather than the mallet one
Rio and Jax were some of the best bullet bike riders I've seen - okay they didn't really play...they were just pretending
But then, we thought we could help them out and push the pedals for them and they could be the driver
Marc with Austin
Look at her sweet face!  I LOVE when I get "real" smiles form these kiddos - they're so cute!
Next, we headed outside to the tubes and cars
Halle, Zak and Austin battled...
Rio, Marc and Jax.  Let's see who won...
 Let the battle ensue!
Austin thought it was so so funny to get people wet with the water squirters :)
And although I stayed back with Logan, I still got wet - Marc totally squirted me as they were pulling back in!!!
Next we headed to the race track!
Austin just had to be with Marc this time
Jax was with cousin Zak who was super sweet to a somewhat frightened little boy
And Rio and I were off again!  So fun!
And lastly, we stopped to cool off before we headed home and Logan chose this giant otter pop!  He loved it and was in heaven!
Brrr..a little cold though he quickly discovered.  Love his puckered little lips :)
Thanks again for coming with us Uncle Marc - so fun!

1st Hike of the Summer

So it was my goal this summer to be outdoors and in the mountains as much as possible with the kids.  We didn't go into the mountains once last year and I regretted it so much so in June we started our weekly hiking trips and we have had so much fun and I've been amazed at these kids ability and endurance.  They have done awesome!
Our first hike was Silver Lake up Big Cottonwood Canyon which was really more of a walk around the lake instead of a hike but it was gorgeous and so fun!
We saw some beautiful blue dragonflies all over and the kids loved them and thought they were so cool!
Cute little ducklings and their mom swimming around
Here was most of the crew we hiked with:
my friend Amber and her 7 kids, Kristina and her 4 kids, Kara and her 4 and Roxy and her 3 all of which have triplets in the mix - I was amongst amazing friends and women :)
My 3 little ones just looking for sticks..
so that they could play, "Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble..."
Their friends Christian and Gabe are in the background

Cute Rylee LOVES feathers and was so excited to find so many
Taking a minute to admire the lake
My miss adventurous finding anything tall and big to climb up on
Here are some of us hanging out taking a water break:
Baby Spencer, Gabe, Sunny, Christian, Avery, Reese, Rio, Jax, Austin, Lucas and Logan
Gorgeous!
"We're almost there!"
Little cuties and best hikers ever!

My little kiddos and me completed our first hike of the season - we were so proud!
